I am same way I stated with wheels and rim's and it has turned into wanting to totally build this thing lift kit everything. That is if I can get this fuel pump replaced

Hi and thank you for this opportunity. I'm Anthony, and I've never used a forum before, so please bare with me! I'm 8000 miles into my very first 4runner, it's a 2019 SR5 4x4 and I am completly overwhelmed and excited about all the possibilities there are for this vehicle! I bought the 4Runner when my wife and I got pregnant and quickly realised my previous vehicle (hyundai veloster turbo) was going to be way too small for my family's needs. So far the 4runner has been more then accommodating! I do plan on enjoying road trips and camping the national with my son Parker born 2/5/19 and feel I have purchased the the perfect all around vehicle! As far as my plans for the truck, probably going to keep it pretty stock for it does everything and more that I need it to do (for now) I am building an overland trailer to accommodate us on all of our future expeditions so I'm sure the truck wont stay stock for long! First on my list is the baja utility rack so I can load my ocean fishing kayak. Next maybe an a/t tires as I'm sure that's the first limiting factor to the trucks performance potential. Anyways sorry for rambling, and I appolgize in advance for making any forum etiquette mistakes, I look forward to learning with you all!

New Memeber. 3rd 4Runner. All 3rd generations. New one arrives Tuesday. Have to say I’m excited.

2007 4Runner Limited V8 AWD with only 22,000 miles. One owner. Not sure if it’s the lowest mileage one but close I imagine.

Long time reader and supporter of this site. Finally getting around to getting my account active as my personal 4runner improvements continue.

I have a 2003 Limited 4wd v8 stratosphere mica roughly 185,700 miles

This site has helped on numerous occasions from replacing my full tailgate and rear bumper, to stereo upgrades, serpentine belt replacement, suspension upgrades and now doug thorley headers, custom y pipe and gibson catback exhaust. so for the help already, big mahalos to you guys.

Look forward to future help and assistance where possible.

Hi everyone. I'm currently renting a 2018 4runner sr5 4x4 from Avis with an option to buy. It's bright silver with just under 30k miles. I know there is a lot of opinions about buying a previous rental but it rides and drives like new and the price is right. There are a few cosmetic issues on the paint, some minor paint chips but no body damage. The interior is very nice, no rips or tears in the seats, very clean. My biggest concern was it was rented and abused off road but looking underneath there are no signs it has ever been bottom out, zero scratches or dents in the skid plate or anywhere else. I'm renting it for three days at a discounted rate and then I have to decide to buy it or not. If I buy it all the rental fees are waived. I love this thing and I"m pretty sure I'm going to buy it.

I have started doing a build of my own. Will post pics as it comes along. I have always been a Chevy truck kind of guy. These 3 runners have a way of getting in your blood though.

Today had to change out a fuel pump ....which by the way which smart engineer decided to make a access hole only big enough to unhook a plug would have been so much easier to pull pump up through but not enough room and did not want to cut right above gas tank. Only had a angle grinder to cut with no blade. Anyways did that and while I had the seat out thought I would RIP the carpet out. Any ideas on where to get a type of hardcover to put back would not be turned away.

I'm Ben, I'm a new member as of 09/02/2019. Purchased a gun-metal gray, 2019 SR5 with XP package a few days ago. Purchased from Flow Toyota in Statesville NC.

Vehicle is 7 seat, all the usual XP package stuff. Ordered the TRD bash plate, which will come in a few days, depending on Hurricane Dorian (TRD bash plates apparently ship out of Florida...).

I bought into this old fashioned, archaic platform known as the 4Runner because I plan to do winter driving on weekend, visiting Churches up and down the Eastern seaboard (mainly, but will go elsewhere), and wanted an unstoppable vehicle to make sure the Preacher always gets there on time!

There are six of us in the family, hence the need for a 4Runner with the 3rd row. Otherwise, I *really* would have liked to get a TRD Pro. Piece by piece, I'm going to kind of build my own. :-)
