Man there are lots of great looking cars on this website. I'm very grateful to have such a resource at my finger tips. Hope to make as many contributions as tidbits of help I have already gotten from this place.
Thanks in advance
Matt

Long time lurker, first time poster.
I'm a photographer in Charlotte, NC. Got my 2001 4Runner a couple years ago. I've done a lot work on it since. It does a good job stock but I want to finally start building it, although it's still my DD.
Look forward to being a part of the forum and starting a build thread along with the build itself.

Just traded in my 11 tundra on an 07 4 Runner SR5. I' ve owned Toyotas for the past 10 years or so but never had a 4 runner. Looking forward to using it for a daily driver and a weekend trail rig.

Hey everyone, been using the site for a couple years now but only to read, decided to start posting and utilizing the site a bit more. I have had my 04 4runner since 2011 and it's the most solid machine I've ever driven. Bought it with 87,000 on it now has 188k and still drives like a champ, will have it paid off next month so looming into doing some more serious mods in the near future

New member - Michigan T4R
Hello my name is Aaron, obviously new to the site.
I live in northern Michigan, I've had two camrys, 97' v6 and a 07' v6.
Love Toyota for many reasons, but living up in the snow belt I had to get something with 4wd, tow capability, higher ground clearance, all that good stuff.
The 4Runner meets all those needs and more!
I bought a 03' limited v8, beautiful, amazing vehicle so far!
I wanted to join this online community to learn more of the vehicle and be a part of the T4R lifestyle.
I am going to reply again here with a pic, and I have a question on something I found underneath the vehicle.
Glad to be here!

03' 4Runner v8 question!
Hi guys, so here is part two of my post... I don't know how else to get to 15 post minimum.
I decided to have a look underneath my new purchase just to check things out, I'm not mechanically inclined or educated, just trying to use common sense.
I found a semi translucent/pink oily substance, not leaking on driveway, but dripping on this black box underneath vehicle about mid-way.
Here is a pic, any idea what this is? What is going on here? Any input appreciated.

Well, my mechanical knowledge could fit into a gnat's navel, but that sounds like automatic transmission fluid to me.
I can't tell from the photo but I'm wondering if the "black box" is the skid plate protecting your transmission and/or transfer case?

Hello,
I have a 2016 trail premium on order. Can't wait to get it and work on making some modifications. Do to a growing family my beloved 07 FJ is getting traded in. Been to the FJ summit in Quray sad I won't have my FJ for the next one. I need to make my 4Runner trail legit. Look forward to sharing my transformation pictures. I also am excited to get great advice from other 4 runner owners.
