V6 versus V8. Early V8 versus VVT-i. Towing. Interior. Seats. Etc. Looks like a good and fun group here. Happy to join it.

We purchased a limited. The stock tire size from a SR5 runs the front bumper, You lose some approach angle and rocker clearance. But overall the full time was worth it. Realistically for my wife’s daily driver and our trip car, the full time 4 was more important. If you miss the angles, You can always improve with cheap body lifts or cuts, but you can’t really add full time 4 to a SR5 if that’s what you miss. Long term we will do a true suspension lift on ours once it’s paid off. But the full time has been nice for simplicity on black ice, surprise cold mornings, etc.

Just wanted to say hello and join the forums. A lot of my internet searches for questions I have lead me back to this forum so thought might as well join up and streamline my searching a little bit lol.

Anyways newish owner from AZ. I bought a 2005 sr5 V6 4wd and love it. It came from back east and has need some TLC that's for sure. It was meant to be a weekend only vehicle but I fell in love with it. Now I only drive my car when the 4runner is getting work done lol.

So far had replaced passenger side axle, drivers side hub, and new shocks and springs.

Was going to post a couple pics but looks like I have to host them at a 3rd part site? It's honestly been a while since I have been active on any forums so it's all coming back to me slowly lol.

Already helping me to learn about my new truck, but I'm here because I jumped in the deep end without enough preparation and need to get things fixed!

It was time to up date my fleet with some very good prices on the 2019 leftovers I went and purchased 3 new 4Runners, White Limited (NJ) , Silver Limited (FL) and a black TRD Off Road (NJ). With the reliability of the 4Runner I am hoping to own these for 10 to 12 years.

hi everyone just bought a 94 4runner a month ago for $1000 runs great looking to start some upgrades soon will post some pics when I take some

so WHat UP T4r I have 2 4runners a 98 with 385k miles on it that I daily currently and a 99 i picked up for 500 buck do to frame rot it sat for a year and a half. got all that fixed and am trying to sort out a few other issues still. mainly the dash is going haywire!

Hey all. Bought a 2015 4Runner Limited. Used, 30,000 miles. Had it for about 6mo and love it. Would love to mod it with some tires, daystar lift, etc. Coming from a Jeep Wrangler JK which I loved to death and hoping to get this 4R to the same place.

Currently trying to buy tires from discount but it won't let me checkout due to them "not fitting" but I think I did my research and they should fit fine.

Hi all just purchased a 2007 4runner Friday and couldn't be happier with it. It has 180,000 miles on it but still drives like it has no miles. Am going to add a few upgrades to it and see how it goes. Pictures to come.

Hi!! I just recently purchased my 2010 sr5 a couple of months ago. First thing I did was start blacking it all out! I applied mountain decals on the sides and rear, plastidipped all of the chrome from to to bottom, added a bullbar, leds in and out, replaced the door handles and got new rims. Slowly but surely I’m going to get this thing where I want!

I had the same issue trying to bug rims for my 2010 sr5. It kept giving me an issue online, but there was no issue getting them on.
