when i got mine i noticed on the sticker it came with those floor mats, they were not in the vehicle. i dint notice for 2 weeks, the dealer tried to tell me you had the car for over a month and we think we gave them to you, i replied, ill give you a 1 star google rating and write a true story about this. guy runs up with the floor mats from another ORP. then i said it comes with a cargo liner also. so next day a brand new cargo liner was waiting for me at dealer.

Ruston from Vegas

Hey everyone my name is Ruston, I am from Vegas. Currently have 2 4runners, a 2015 SR5 4x4 and a 2007 SR5 2wd.

Just finished up on the 2015 and I know everyone says this, its done!

But I think It really will be because I am starting a cool resto project on my 2007!

Cant wait to make a build thread for that!

Here is my 2015, pics of the 2007 to come!

Love that Blue! For me its almost too much maybe a two-tone blue/white similar to what is done on a FJ.

Not hating on your ride just personal taste.

Just went back and re looked at your pics all white roof would be too much but white roof line from about just in front of the roof rack in line with rear door extending down to just above the rear fender I IMHO would love it.

Curious, since you're also in SoCal, if you have a 4wd. That's really the only other component of this, aside from wondering if $6500 is a wild sum to spend on the above. Am I going to long for 4wd ten minutes after buying this truck?
Not from SoCal but here is my take on wishing for 4WD.
My front wheel drive Promaster has done 95% of everything that I have asked of it with a sleeping area and room for my bike locked up inside, Last November during a trip to Northern Wisconsin we mainly used my brothers 02 Durango 4X4 for the 9day gun deer season and again on the last day used it to pull my snow tire equipped Promaster out of the drive way at the cabin.
Conclusion I have still have my Promaster for 95% of my usage and added the 4Runner 4X4 for the other 5% because my brother might not always be around to pull me out of a situation.

How often do you see yourself getting off the blacktop and do you have a brother with a tow strap?

No brothers with tow straps, and not really sure about getting off the blacktop in four wheels. This is new terrain for me: four wheel vehicles, let alone 4X4. Have only ridden my bikes for a decade: for fun in the dirt, for groceries, for everything.

My truck search began with the thought that I'd buy a beater pickup—like a 95 Ranger—solely to have something to haul a surfboard to the beach. Recently moved in with the gf, she's close to the water, and I was sick of relying on buddies for surfing. But I'm newish to living in CA, there's exploring galore to be done within a 2-8 hour drive, and I started thinking something a bit more versatile would come in handy.

That got me on the 4Runner kick. Seemed a great rig that I could grow into: maybe a rooftop tent, excursions with the lady and her daughter, MX hitch on the back so I could have the bike on hand to get rowdy in far off places. Don't have much interest in hardcore offloading in a car—just doesn't seem as fun as what you can do on two wheels.

The 4X4 fantasies are: Would I head down to Baja and camp on the beach if I had a machine capable of that? Knowing me, probably. But it's not something I considered until I got on this kick, so maybe the internet put it there?

Newly Registered

Just bought my first 4runner, 2011 limited, about 3 months ago. Enjoy it thoroughly so far! Had only one issue with my driver side heated seat but outside of that I love it. May eventually add a brush guard since deer are pretty rampant in my area. Looking forward to seeing what the forums about!

have a question I put my 1998 4Runner on the road and started my driving to set my monitors all but 1 monitor was ready and that happened to be EVAP so I went ahead and went through inspections and they asked me to shut the truck off so I did and then turns out I failed not do to the 1 monitor not being ready as that year can have I believe 1 monitor not ready in the state of NJ but when I shut down the vehicle it reset 4 monitors? And only left me with misfire - ready
Components - ready
fuel system - ready
All other not ready any reason why this would be?
Not sure what’s going on I’ve driven the truck several times and as soon as I shut it off my cat/o2/heated o2/Evap all revert back to not ready?
