Had considered removing running boards just for looks but wife got in and said she liked them for getting in.

Need to remember to take first pics before starting any changes=CRS or old timers disease.
Took a couple of first pics now trying out how to attache.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
New myself so not much input to offer other than the color if not the gloss matches your bike.

If your going to the beach which I assume means sand do you really want 2WD?

I admit a lot of what I like is the sibling pairing of bike and truck on the looks front. As for the beach? I'll just be parking on the street next to the ocean, not crawling dunes, so 2WD should be good.

My main point of hesitation is probably the price.

I thought the price high for a 2WD but thought maybe it was a California thing as prices vary per locality.

Just for reference I recently acquired the above pictured 00 4WD Limited with 125k miles for $4750, Just prior to sale original owner replaced, timing belt, water pump, valve cover gaskets, front brakes and rotors as well as belt and hoses it does need tires which will be going on tomorrow as we had snow last night, and again tonight, Wed night, and then again on Friday/Sat.

The Promaster in the background is my bike hauler for now.

Hello

New owner of a 2003 4th gen v6 sr5. It was in my wifes family since new in 03. Bought it off them last year. Just started doing basic maintenance new struts, shocks and upgraded to 5th gen brakes. 165K miles currently. Also upgraded to a v8 style frame mounted hitch for towing our trailer

Nice looking rig—and love the Promaster. Considered one of those as well.

Yeah, I think the price is high because the owner bought it stock and added a lot of fun stuff: new shocks, the lift, the grill, a different muffler. Tricked it out in ways that do appeal. My plan is a Baja roof rack with tent—eventually—which would get me to around 8K invested in what's still a 2WD. But, dang, I can't stop thinking about it!

New here, just bumping the post count while I'm waiting on delivery!

Hopefully tomorrow I pick up my 2020 TRD OR Premium. Selling my Tundra for a very slight kick up in MPGs and more off-road worthiness. Exploring, posting, and researching before I start on any mods. Except tires! That stock rubber they claim as all terrain has to go!

Newbie picking up a 20 TRD Pro in black later this week/early next week. Had a 3rd gen Limited ages ago. Bit of a frequent car trader the last few years: Wrangler JKU Rubicon to Jeep GC Summit 4x4 to Ford Mustang GT350 to 5th gen TRD. Hoping this one ticks all my boxes and I keep it long term.

My 4th gen 4runner is a great surfboard hauler and that 4runner looks like it would be good as well. Good luck on your search
