Whats up dudes. I've learned a lot lurking these forums over the years, finally broke down and made an account. After chronic issues with my original motor I swapped a JDM into my 2000 limited last summer and now I'm looking forward to starting a build soon. I figured I'd have questions along the way so here we are.

Hi all,

I've lurked here for a while. Pics below of my beloved 2002 Limited V6 4wd. I love this rig. Has run like a top since I bought it, so haven't had much need to post until today...

She popped out a spark plug. I was able to just replace it with a new one and lightly tighten it. She runs and drives totally normally, but now I sometimes hear a "tooting" or whistling that's rhythmic with the pulsing of the motor when I hit the throttle. Wondering if maybe it's air coming out of that plug hole in the head? Curious if anyone else has experienced this.

Any input or ideas on the cause are greatly appreciated!

Hey Folks- What's Upper!
I've used these forums (lurking?) in the past years to help me correct issues with my with my previous 04 4Runner SR5. I've signed up now because I'm thankful for the ideas & information that inspired me to mod my new 2020 Trd Offroad 4R & share to those who are looking as I was... Bought 5mos ago added 6K of mods. Built mainly for show, but ready to go! Not an avid offroader, but hoping to rip thru some trails someday.

New and stoked!
After searching the interwebs for a while I'm very excited I stumbled upon this forum. From the little bit of perusing I've done I can already tell this will be a huge player in getting my 98' 4Runner in good order. Her name is Bessy and although she has treated me well with no problems since I bought her in March, I found out the odometer was rolled back and it's time to get my hands dirty before the snow hits. I am a new 4Runner owner, I just got a 2002 SR5 Sport Edition just last week. I'm looking forward to being apart of the community and building my 4Runner to be my lifelong buddy. He doesn't have a name yet, I'm still waiting for it to come to me.

Hi,
My name is Martin, I leave in Michigan. I come from Brazil, there I have a Hilux Turbo Diesel AWD and here I just bought one 4Runner SR5 2010. Both cars are similar, my impression is that the Hilux is a little bigger than the 4Runner.
My first question is where can I find the repair manual of the 4Renner 2010? I have some small issues that I need to solve and this manual will help me...
