Just a girl in love with 4Runners
Hey everyone! I recently purchased a 3rd gen with 170k on it and am stoked to build it out. Here to observe, admire and gain inspiration. I had a 3rd gen named Clifford about six years ago that I had to let go of but it made it to 390k. I hope to help this one make it even farther.
It’s currently in the shop getting a cat and a thorough inspection. Definitely have some clogged drain lines from the sunroof and it is raining harder inside than it is outside in Oregon 😅 I am still considering details for all the upgrades and am excited to share its journey with y’all.
P.S. no clue how to add pics yet. I’m sure I’ll figure it out after I post this lol

Hi all, just bought my 2019 TRD Pro about 5 days ago and already itching to start on the mods! This is my first venture into lifted/off roading; modded mini trucks, imports, motorcycles, and muscle cars over the years but have been driving a completely stock 2wd Sequoia for the past 5 years...
Wondering what steps it'll take to get 33" mud/snow tires on my truck without completely breaking the bank? Just got off the phone with 4Wheel parts and have to admit they scared me a bit talking about body mount cuts and differational drops on top of the lift itself all while racking up more and more cost. Any guidance would greatly help!

I am curious, what is the first few upgrades suggested on a 5th gen TRD Pro?
Any thoughts?

I was considering lifting my 2021 TRD Pro as well, but after talking to a couple of close friends that work in the auto industry, I decided to leave it stock to avoid the added wear and tear... I will be just adding armor in the bottom as well as rock sliders for the most part...
Since I'm still curious, please post what you end up with.
Cheers!

Hi
Hi all! I'm new to 4Runners. I've always had 4x4s but this is my first Toyota. Bought a 2020 TRD Off-Road. Just ordered a a Toytec Lift for it to start the makeover.

Hi. I’m coming over from Tacomaworld. I just purchased a 2021 SR5 premium 4Runner when I saw they were cheaper than the TRD Off-road Tacoma I originally went into buy. The hardest choice was deciding on blue or black.

I've left mine stock too, no lift. But still wish I had some height. At the very least would like better armor from skids that don't significantly reduce clearance. On runs down Padre Island I plow the beach in the deeper sand with stock skids now. Would hate to think what it would do with even less clearance.

Hello
Hey guys. I've been doing a lot of small mods for my 2002 SR5 4runner (not 4x4, useless and stupid) that I got from my sister. I don't wanna spend too much money on it because it can't go anywhere that doesn't have a paved road and speed limit signs, and it has 250k miles on it. Mainly cosmetic and comfort stuff, installed some hella halogens on my front bumper because the roads to my duck camp are insanely dark and curvy at 3:30 in the morning, put a roof rack so I can put a cooler in my car. I don't have a lot of trunk space because I built a toolbox in the rear cargo area to hold my shotgun shells, lures and actual tools for when my rear shocks eventually explode on the side of the road.
Anyway, just found out about this forum and I'm excited to see what I can learn and decide on my next car! (Not sure if I should get a 4x4 3rd gen or a GMC or ford pickup)
Long story short I'm a broke idiot with a 4runner. Thank you.
