Hi folks. I've wanted a 4Runner for years. I finally purchased one on September 1st. My 12-year-old son was there to help me pick it out. It was a great memory! I looked used (I've always bought used cars) but it seems the runners hold their value so well I ended up buying a new 2020 TRD Off-Road Premium. I've already added a TRD Pro Grill and hope to install HID headlights soon but I've been enjoying the truck so much! Here's some pix of the rig.
Hi. New 4RUNNER owner and new to this forum. Was wondering if you can give advice about what push/bull bar you would recommend for a 2020 with the sensor. Any and all advise is appreciated
Hoping to be able to post in some other forums soon...
I got a new 2018 Toyota 4Runner ORP...My 2nd One after my 2011 SR5. Looking to get some insight about hid lights and learning everything about the ORP features.
Used to be a ttora member in CA and now in CO so hoping after these crazy times are hopefully over there will be some runs and activities... and get to meet some cool people...
I am looking to sell a set of 4 trd off road premium wheels once the forums let me they are pretty much brand new with 10 miles on them so hit me up if you are interested before then.
Just bought a new to me 2007 Silver Runner that I am looking to turn into a bit of a base camp for ski trips. With all the changes this past year with work, I'm planning on taking advantage of the new flexible work plan with my 4Runner.
Massive thanks to the forum for all the help in knowing what to look for!
Hi im new here. I have been ghosting the threads for some time now. I recently picked up my second 4runner, a 2003 SR5 V8 with 305k on the dash. I previously owned a 96' a couple of years ago and fell in love these vehicles. I have heard great things about the V8 and plan to drive this thing into the ground.
I signed up mostly for advice on maintenance. I ran a carfax and it looks like the vehicle was maintained well throughout owners, pointing out the 4th owner who knew what they had at the time. The previous owner was a younger man and it looked like he neglected it a bit.
Since picking up the vehicle i have taken it to Toyota, had the timing belt & water pump replaced plus their 10-point inspection. They pointed out a few things i knew, brakes, axels, etc. but did not mention any mechanical issues. The engine and trans sound great, their are a few things which i can not exactly pin point. slick knock when shifting from reverse to drive, louder than normal. I also feel a slight thud when accelerating from a stop, first thought was mounts but that was not in the inspection.
Sorry if this is the wrong place for this but any help or thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks!
