Hello all! I have used this sight to seek answers to many questions...and thank all of you for your videos and expertise that helped me tackle some DIY'ers. I don't know if I can ask a question here, but I have searched and searched for a part that holds fog lights in place. I am sure they are probably a part of the total purchase on fog lights, but I broke mine. The part I seek, I would call a fog light retainer clip. It is like the door that holds the light in place. Right now I have a combination of tape and cloth stuffed in there. Any help appreciated.

The BMW is the ultimate driving experience IMHO...just not on dirt. That said, I spent a weekend with the 4Runner in Utah going wherever I wanted and I look forward to this summer in Colorado going up and down these mountains.

You hear the brake relay clicking on yet with cruise control? The first time I heard it I was like wtf? Then I just thought it was funny because it was so basic.
The Volvo would speed up when I flipped the turn signal and the blind spot was clear. This is a different beast. Wouldn't trade her for the world rn.

No, not that I've realized anyways. Probably focusing too much on trying to milk some speed out of the engine while trying to still average 17 mpg.
Haha..it's all good. Like Davide Bowie said, "Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes"

I recently bought my first runner, 240K mile '00 Limited, to get self and wife out for some wilderness camping, only regret is i didn't do it sooner. Like the ARs too.

Long time lurker on here- figured I'd introduce myself
I joined this forum about 4 years ago when I bought my first 4Runner. I had Hondas and Acuras growing up, and ventured in to the Toyota world when I got a job where I needed a SUV. I've really enjoyed it!
There's a ton of great resources on here- I added new head unit, amp, and re-wired all of the speakers, and I just finished installing seat heaters in my stock seats. Figured I should start being more active here so I can give back and share what I've learned.

I have been reading here for years but guess I never joined. Hahaha. Long time Toyota enthusiast.
My first one was over 20yrs ago:
Past:
75’ FJ40
77’ FJ40
85’ 4Runner
90’ Hilux Diesel Crewcab
00’ 4Runner
Currently:
88’ 4Runner - I am the second owner. I am currrntly doing BJ spacers/OME rear lift/softopper and 33x10.5s
78’ FJ40 - Mostly Daily driver in the summer. Needs a roof and doors for full time driver in the summer. Not perfect but minimal rust. And looks great from 20’. 33x12.5s and might try to stuff 35s this summer.
06’ 4Runner - it’s the wife’s really but I seem to get stuck with the repairs and bills. Hahaha
Looking forward to learning lots and parting any knowledge I may have socked away over the years.
Cheers, ~J

Hi all. I have procrastinated joining this forum for years because I have always found the info I needed without joining. I have a 2002 4Runner with 380k miles on it and this forum has been very helpful getting it that far!
I am joining today because I have a strange problem that I can't find the answer to.

Long time lurker first time poster. Finally got a T4R and I daily a Tacoma. Have spent most my life wheeling and building Toyota and other small and large off road pickup trucks. Not a newb when it comes to mechanics or fabrication. However, I am looking forward to gaining more knowledge on these areas from the savvy techs on this site. Thanks for having me.

Hi all.
I'm finally posting up some messages as I finally have something useful to say! Have had a 1995 4runner for over a decade and a 2017 TRD Offroad since the summer of 2017. Was stock until about a month ago, and finally changed out the head unit to an Alpine Halo (so as to get CarPlay) and just completed installation of a Fox 2.5" DSC remote resy lift at all four corners. Had some interesting issues with the install that I see only partial discussion of on the forums - so should I ever get to 15 posts here, I'll do a write up of that. Also have a 2007 FJC and have been much more active over on their blue room forum.

Hey!
Hey all, just set up a profile after a few years of just creepin around here reading threads. Bought my 2006 4runner sport in 2016 with about 121k miles and now at about 150k. Looking to start doing some upgrades like a new front bumper (due to mine being messed up from when a pole jumped out at me), a small lift, roof rack and some new wheels. Let me know if you have any suggestions on order! Thanks!

Bought a 4Runner after a liftime in Mustangs
I've been driving Mustangs for my whole life, ever since I was 16. Started with a '96 V6 convertible, then a '97 Cobra and finally a '12 GT. Decided to change it up a bit and try something new. 2021 T4R LTD. Looking forward to learning about a whole new style of driving and modifying.

First post!
Howdy! first time post to the forum, been a long time lurker. Trying to upload all of the pics of my 2000 Limited to my album list.
ownership of this vehicle has been nothing but a curse and a blessing. Ive owned mine now for the past 3 years. Ive never had heat through any winter and ive finally given it time to fully diag my issue and currently attacking it now.
its a mixture of the previous owner not knowing what they were doing and old parts. Looking forward to posting a thread to discuss my woe's here soon!

I found the best way to embed pics is with Imgur and BBcode since the forum itself is a little weird for picture hosting. I did a little explanation here: https://www.toyota-4runner.org/3549755-post34683.html
