Talking

Hello Everyone,
Just ordered a 2021 TRD Pro in MGM! Should arrive in a few weeks. Can’t even sleep I’m so pumped.
I’ve been sneaking around on all the forums here for a couple months now and evaluating which trim to go with between ORP or Pro. I finally just decided to go big or go home.

Going to meet w dealer again tomorrow to discuss if they can give me a deal on swapping out the 265 Terra Grapplers for 275 K02s before I take delivery.

I plan on leveling/lifting it one day and moving up to 285s, but now I’m just looking for a little more tire/off road traction/rugged looks than the 265 Terra Grapplers.

Anyways...can’t wait to get my truck and I look forward to many great conversations to come.
I’ll post some pics ASAP!

Wasss Up!

FNG here, but old school Toyota guy. Just bought my son his first vehicle, a 2002 SR5 4Runner. Craigslist find, 161k & lots of new parts etc. Love the 3.4L, reminds one of my old T-100...Miss that old girl

Greeting, just picked up a new to me 2014 SR5 Premium. I've had a few Tacomas in the past, but I'm really impressed with the T4R so far. A couple of quirks I need to to address. Most pressing is that the key does not turn either direction in the driver's door. Works fine in the tailgate though.

Just signed up chasing solutions the dreaded 4th gen sunroof rattle.

2006 V8 Limited, 214k daily driver. 1.5" low lift to replace the leaking X-REAS and keep the stock a-arms. Other than than, bone stock towing package. Fluids, brakes, tires, two timing services, a cam seal, one starter and that's it since I became the second owner in '08 when it had 56K.

Hi All!

New here. From upstate NY. Soon to be owner of a 4Runner TRD Pro. Looking to purchase one as of this writing.
I’m a maintenance facilities director for 12 medical facilities and own a thriving home maintenance and remodeling business.
I’m looking for off roading areas and maps in the Adirondacks and the northeast.
Also looking for places that do upgrades and modifications on 4Runners.

Thank you!

Hey folks!

Longtime lurker first time poster

I've got a 2000 SR5 5spd with 195k and is starting to need some love but is otherwise still in good shape after lots of adventures including going to burning man for 10 years.

This year I finally replaced all the spring with OME for a 2.5" lift along with Bilstien 1500 and some new shoes American racing Baja and 35" BFG KO2 tires. Which improved the ride 1000% and got ride of that dreadful saggy ass she'd gotten after years of occasionally towing heavy but still within range.

Currently trouble shooting a P0300 and having an issue where when starting cold if I don't give it extra throttle it just dies. Thinking its fuel related.

Big thanks to @mtbtim and his stellar youTube channel Timmy the toolman. If you haven't checked it out you're missing out.

Happy Trails

1st post.

Traded our 2018 Kia Sorento for a 2018 5th gen sr5 4runner. Not a stranger to 4runner as I've had 2 1st gen 4runners.

The day I got it fresh from dealer

Didn't stay stock very long. Added 1.5” wheels spacers and 275/70/17 wild peak atw3, front fender liner mod and trim, removed front mud flap.

Waiting on 1” read cornfed spacers and front blistien 5100. Once that's done I'll be making my own hitch-mounted swing-out tire carrier and roof rack.

New to the game

Aloha from Oahu Hawaii everyone! My name is Josh and I'm a surf instructor out here in Hawaii and I just bought my first 4runner. It's an 2205 SR5 Rear wheel drive V6. I just love it. Plenty of room for all my boards when I head up north to catch the swell. I have a few problems with it so far though so I'm looking for advice on how to fix it without kicking my own butt in costs. I paid six grand for it so I don't want to spend the same getting it fixed. Love what I have seen on here so far so I might even be able to get my questions answered off of what you guys have already posted. Here goes nothing.

Hey guys, new as member to the forum, but been a lurker for way too long. I have a 2015 trail edition 4runner which I love, and my reliable 2005 sport edition v8 which finally got some suspension work at 205k miles. Hoping to get feedback on running my vehicle with OME suspension and get inspiration for other builds. Cheers!

Decided to join after reading through the forum over the last few weeks. I haven't been active on a forum in over 10 years, but this seemed like a good place.

Recently pick up a '21 TRD OR, traded in my semi-built JKU. Miles above that Jeep in every way that I will use it. Lots of good info here so far, hopefully I can add some too down the road.

Newb here...

First time ever being active on a forum, all this is new. Sems like a lot of good info here, as well as some good fun.

I recently bought a 2000 4Runner, found this forum while looking for some info to help as I work through maintenance and repair stuff. I'm no mechanic, but I've taught myself some stuff over the years and hope I can offer some help down the road too.

I moved out here to Colorado a couple years ago, used to live in Utah and play around there. I won't be the best source of mechanical knowledge just yet, but if you're looking to explore, especially in Utah, I may have something to offer there.

Welp, picked it up yesterday. 2019 SR5, 4WD, 23k miles. I'm sad to get rid of my tacoma but the poor thing just didn't have my confidence anymore. Hopefully the 4Runner turns out a bit better.

Would have liked the ORP for the diff lock but honestly this thing will get me wherever I need to go.
