Im converting my 97 sr5 limited into the ultimate smoke sesh vehicle. I'm thinking about installing a permanant hooka device thingy my girlfriend has in the trunk in order to allow us to hotbox the hell out of it. Ive also installed removeable containers to act as ash trays in all of the interior door handles. Im looking into rigging the back cup holder into a bong holder as well.

One of my preferences of the GEN 2 model over the GEN 3 model is the way the tailgate opens on the GEN 2. Great for tailgating - this is not as convenient with the GEN 3 (& most modern SUV) designs.

These GEN 2 & GEN 3 4WD's are beasts in the snow !

The base 2WD is only so-so in snow. You will definitely want to invest in good winter tires to help with traction in snowier climes.

New guy here just dropping a post to say hi. Picked up a 2018 ORP in super white, CPO.

Previously had JKU rubicon lifted on 35’s. Blew the rear main seal (told this was common), and it had lots of other issues, so i sold it.

Already enjoying the ride comfort moving to the 4Runner.

Just picked up my 2018 Blizzard Pearl/Black Limited to join the '84 Scrambler and '09 Avalanche LTZ. After doing some research, la esposa said "I think you'll like the 4Runner better".

I'll be doing some minor mods, just wanted something to save some miles on the Avy (approaching 200k), comfortable for 10+ hour freeway drives but still able to do some light off-roading.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi. Now it's time to lurk

Hey all, been on and off lurking while deciding on my next vehicle purchase.

Currently have a 2018 Jeep JK and can't wait to get rid of it due to how loud it is and such poor ride quality.

Came here looking for some ordering advice after dealership cancelled my order of a 2021 TRD OR w/ KDSS.

Bought this SR5 Premium with tan softex in March and already have 8,000 miles on it. TRD rims, TRD exhaust tip, and blackout badges. No tires yet.

Just went through the whole unobtanium new 4runner buying experience myself after owning a 4thgen 4R and a couple Tacos. We wanted a '21 ORP and they were nowhere to be found.. Waiting lists and above sticker prices in our area at the time. We ended up with a Limited that probably makes more sense as it (sadly) wont get lifted and will get drivien 95+% on-road. Not suggesting you sacrifice on desired features... Get what you NEED.

What ordering advice are you looking for?

Like the subtle aggressiveness look. What size tires?

i just bought a 2017 TRD Offroad a few months back. i plan on keeping it stock for the most part. I threw on some KO2s, and removed the running boards. I came to the forum looking for roof rack ideas. Nothing crazy.....just something functional.

Just got my first 4Runner and by my name you can guess I lucked up and got an Urban Runner edition. She's a 2008 Blizzard Pearl, 1 owner, 180k miles, V6 and I'm absolutely in love with it. The engine bay is so clean you can eat off it and coming from a 2008 Rav4 with multiple issues from factory and neglect, that's a big step up. I'm here because I now realize my 4Runner has some quirks being the "Urban" edition and I want to be able to get help if I need it and this forum seems very welcoming and useful. If anyone reading this knows any issues about my model or year 4runner please let me know because I've been doing so much research but I know there's still so much to learn so even something simple might be new to me haha. Thank you for reading.
