Hello everybody! My names Matt and I just got my first 4runner a few weeks ago. For the past 5 years I've been offroading and building jeeps, come on I can feel you shunning me from here, but I'm glad I finally have a yota.
But here it is as it sits, in all of its glory

I believe you need to post 15 times before you can start a thread.

Nice truck! Look at that poor Ford owner wishing he was as cool as you.

Hey everyone my name is Guy and I just want to say this forum is great!! I have a 2005 4Runner v6 limited with 205,000 miles and it runs like a champ. I've recently gotten a company truck and want to turn my 4Runner into an off-road machine. I've been reading through all the posts about tire size, lifts, gear ratios, etc.. Would I be crazy to jump into this and buy maybe a toytec 3in lift, 1in body (or more), 35 in tires, winch, skid plates, etc. Or am I crazy?

Hi everyone.
I'm new to the 4runner world and trucks in general. I've been scouting this site and instagram for inspiration. After weeks of research I'm dead set on getting a 3rd or 4th gen ride and modding as I go. I got a 1 year old that'll be getting the interior dirty, so a new 5th gen didn't make too much sense (unless one of you can convince me otherwise).
Thank you to everyone that helps moderate the site as it's been a great resource. Wish me luck on finding a solid ride for beach trips and light trail driving for camping.

I'm located on the Central Coast in CA and there's a 2004 SR5 with just 110k going for $15k, which I thought was way over considering it's basically stock. The shop focuses on getting vehicles up to date on service which is great, but I don't want to overpay. I'd appreciate any feedback as I want to get this first purchase right.
