I wanted red. According to the dealers, internet, and a years worth of research, it was not hard for me to believe that there are only 4 Red KDSS/Off Road trucks in a 500 mile radius right now (some of them, mine included, in the Pacific Ocean).

Less than a week ago, my beloved 2000 Exploder actually exploded (drive train) in a fiery, vacation-ruining, cloud of smoke, along with my "get me a new truck spreadsheet".

Guess circumstances chose a bad time to be picky, but I got way under MSRP in a weird twist of events, so I'm OK. Not a steal, but it makes my situation better.

Anyway, sad for my wonderful Exploder, excited for my new truck, and scared of my new bank account.

Picked up new Cement TRD Pro last Wednesday. New to T4R and enjoying all the great mods and loads of experience. Much to look forward to.

Hey guys, don't know where to go for to get some help so thought I'd post in the noobie thread. I created a build thread but think I may have created it under the "new members" section instead of somewhere it is supposed to be. Is there a way to move a thread one creates? Thanks in advance!!! PS the thread is called "Sanmyaku build thread". That's the name of my 4th gen ;)

I ended up with Blue because my dealer told me they could only find 2 reds in the country in off road premium with KDSS. One was in Santa Fe and one was in Atlanta.

I figured out how to do a national inventory search and that matched what the dealer told me. So, hard as it is to believe, it seems true, Toyota doesn't make many reds in that trim level. There were about 15 grey, white, black, or silver ones in a 50 mile radius though.

Hello all, new 4runner owner here! The wife and I just got our '04 SR5 V6 about 2 months ago now and we couldn't be happier! Love the ride, the room it has, everything really! Gonna be a great camping and hiking rig! Getting a Revtek 3" lift kit installed soon and some toyo open country at2's, got it scheduled for the 21st already! So pumped! Looking forward to meeting the community and posting here. Here is a picture of it about a week after we got it, up in the Olympic National Forest in WA. And another of us getting it a little dirty for the first time! Does well for a 2wd.
