Hello friends! I’m from Southern California and just picked my first 4Runner today! I got a 2019 TRD Off Road Premium! She gorgeous! I look forward to being a part of this community. I can’t wait to take her out on a trail!

Hi everyone! Marc here from the burbs of Detroit. I sold my 1987 Range Rover Classic this week after being stranded 3 times in 2019 (trans failure, rod bearing failure, and distributor failure). I purchased a 1989 4Runner from a local seller that is pretty clean, but needs some love. So far, I am loving it. I plan on treating the underside with corroseal first. Next, the swingout bumper was homemade by a po, and unsure if its strong enough for the 33x12.5 mickey thompson mud that is wobbling on the back. I will either replace or look into strengthening it. Finally, once I get 14 more posts, I will likely create a build thread so i can inquire about opinions on losing or retaining the body lift, and if removing, what lift to go with to still fit the 33x12.5's that came on the truck. I look forward to reading and working through issues with this truck.

I just picked up a 2019 TRD Pro last week. Coming from a stg 2 Audi A4, this is my first T4R and first 4x4 since a ‘95 Nissan hardbody when I was in high school. I was pretty active on the Audizine forum, and will likely become more active here as the mid-bug takes over.

Planning to add a set of nerf bars and upgrade the headlights. Coming from BiXenon headlights to halogen projectors is a big step down.
