Can't wait to get a 4 R gen 6
I have a Ram 4x4, Jeep Cherokee which I want to trade into a new 4 Runner. Is it worth waiting for the GEN 6 or is the 2020 version the way to go. Guy

New here, kinda...
Been lurking for a long time, but finally started posting.
Got a 2000 T4R Ltd with a 2 1/2" lift and Good Year Ultra Terrains.
Looking at maybe pull the running boards and replace with nerf bars and steps for the wife. Had my T4R since 2001. Has 113,000 miles on it.
Great forums and all kinds of good and helpful info here.
Here's a pic:

Been lurking for a while, but now it is time to join and contribute. I have had my Runner for 2 years now, but was finally able to lift it with new wheels and tires. So here is my first post. Cheers!

Hey there, just sticking my head in...
I just acquired a 2008 4R Limited. Actually I bought it new in 2008, but my wife has been driving it exclusively, limiting my use to long road trips... But alas she took pity on me when my 96 Cherokee died. She hated riding in it because it was loose and jacked up (and smelled like stale beer, wet dog, and pot smoke.) Anyway, instead of trading it in, we kept it with the thought of my using it like my past Jeeps. So I'm here to learn my options. At first I didn't think I could really modify it too much because it's all fancy and electronic (my Jeep was all manual, right down to the window cranks, and simple to work on.) But after lurking here, I noticed quite a bit about this generation and lots of great upgrades. In fact, now that I'm older, I'm kind of liking the creature comforts of this Toy, and really love the V8. So here I am, and I'll be sure to contact a few of the 4th Gen owners that have similar tastes in mods.

My name is Rick. I recently purchased my 4Runner, and I’m more than pleased with it. ‘19 SR5. I look forward to sharing the mods to it.

This forum is great. There is a wealth of valuable information to find. Since doing my first mod (RSG Rocksliders) I cant stop searching for more info on my next mod (suspension). I also look forward to actually getting outside and going on rides with people from the forum.
