I have owned 2 4Runners a 2007 and now a 2010. The 2010 is pretty old but I could afford it, it came with 285/70s, wheel spacers and a leveling kit. Runs well too.

Wish I knew ahead of time that mods for the 2010-2013 were a little limited in comparison to the rest of the 5th Gens. Oh well there is still plenty I’m able to do.

I bought my 02 SR5 last August as a beater for the Maine winter but now find myself driving it more than my other vehicle.

Have a list of things I want to try an accomplish (rust proofing) before the winter comes around and I’ve used this site so much I thought it was time to join.

Got my first vehicle, 2016 4Runner limited.
First time experiencing an off-road vehicle. Slowly getting to know all the functions and correct way to utilize features.

Hey all - been lurking around here for the last couple of years since my sister and brother-in-law gifted their '92 4Runner to my three boys a couple of years ago. Never really jumped on anything until today when I found an old thread about the tailgate window not going down. Followed the advice provided by run4yota (circa 2011) and BAM! It works again!

Anyway, live in Virginia Beach and the third boy (15-1/2 w/learner's permit) is SUPER into cars and wants to fix up the vehicle big time. Have a feeling I'll be spending a lot more time here in the future.

Any advice on a good place to go online for parts? The interior door panel on the passenger side front door is coming off, beyond salvage and needs replacement.

Looking forward to spending more time here!

curious about pulling body lift to run a suspension lift vs getting out a hammer to fit the 12.5's

then again maybe best to go to a smaller tire than 33x12.5?
