Just dropping in to say hello from Texas. I've had 3 gens of Runners and have had my wife hooked since we bought her 5th gen 6 years ago. Been a member since 2017 just not a big poster.

New Here
Just joined up. Bought a 2007, SR5, 4WD, V6 in February. 1 owner, 205,xxx miles, dealer serviced with all the records. Replaced the front bumper & both fenders & outside door handles. We took it to South Padre Island & drove the beach. It did well in the sand with A/S tires. (265/70R17) Went to Patagonia, AZ & did some trails around there. Did good on some 2.5 - 3.0 trails around there with Pathfinder 265-70R17 tires. Definately needed to be levelled out. I got a set of take off coilovers from a '22 Taco TRD Off Road. Replaced the swaybar bushings & end links, inner tie rods & boots while I was in there. purchased skids from RCI. Should get those installed this week. Not planning any other mods any time soon. I always ran those Pathfinders in 31-10.5/15 on the 95 Tacoma, V6, 4WD, M/T we had for 10 years before that. Loved the Taco & it took us places I was scared to go but we decided we wanted some "creature comforts". The wife & I have done trails all over the Western states. The Taco had "pin stripes" from 7 states. Will see how long it takes to get them on the 4Runner. Will be heading to Sedona, AZ in a week or so & will see how the suspension does on some rocks.

Love this 4Runner!
Just picked up this 2024 4Runner off road premium from the dealer. They gave me a deal I could not say no to. First pick is from the showroom floor, 2nd is is the driveway. This is the second 4Runner I have owned and I am happy to back in one. My previous vehicle was 10 years old and it was time to let it go and think of something new. So far I have tinted the windows, blacked out the emblems, changed out some of the interior bulbs with led bulbs, changed out the reverse lights with super bright led's, can see much better behind me at night. installed a front and rear dash cam and mounted a radar detector under the rear view mirror (lead foot). I want to replace the front and rear valences with black ones and swap out the upper grill for a TRD grill, replace the rims with the TRD rims I think they look better then the rims it came with. Replacing tires are also on the list. I've seen some great builds on this site that have given me many ways to blow more money!

Hello from Texas of Canada!
Hello all, new to the forum and recently new to my first Toyota 4Runner. It's a 2015 Limited which will primarily be used by my wife as a gas guzzling grocery getter, but we're also looking forward to the extra space for longer road trips and for towing my utility trailer around when I need it. I'm up in Alberta, Canada, but the vehicle is originally from Kentucky so I'm happy there's little to no rust for its age. There are a few things I need help with on it so hoping to get my post count up soon and be able to ask some questions.
Cheers.

Update with pics
So a few pics of the Runner. When we got it the right front fender was crumpled & the bumper cover was broken. The black & white theme 'cause the Boss insisted I fix the cosmetic damage & no way we'd ever get a perfect match on the paint, so I didn't even try. I don't give names to inanimate objects but the Boss has dubbed this "The Roadrunner" so there had to be a decal. (on glass only, never on paint) The 3rd gen Taco coilovers leveled it out just about perfect. Can't wait to see how it works on some slick rock.

Reason: sorry for the sideways first pic. Don't know how to fix it.

New member here, been reading the forum over the past year and found tons of useful information, so thank you all for that. Quick backstory about me, got my 21' TRD Offroad in Nov of 2022 after my 2018 Silverado dropped a lifter. Tons of money later, truck never ran right and I absolutely needed something dependable, thus the 4runner. My family and I like the beach, so I got a 4wd version. Wanted the locking rear diff, so the trd offroad was the obvious choice, even though ive never used or needed it and doubt I ever will lol. Bought it used as a previous rental with 50k miles, and it now has about 85k. Added 5100's all around and a 1" Cornfed spacer *based on advice from this forum*, swapped the dunlops out for toyo open country at3s and threw in the new wheels from Discount tire while I was already throwing money away lol. Ive always been a gear head, and tend to be ocd about my vehicles, so hopefully down the road I can contribute and help someone else as ya'll have helped me.

New '23 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium
I loved my old '07 Toyota FJ, but mileage got up there on vehicle and me too. I tried a Jeep Wrangler, but back to Toyota. This "Old Skool" ride has no ESS (Engine Stop Start) like the Jeep and I enjoy NOT having that in a NEW vehicle.
Basically the same drive train as my FJ with 4.0L V6 that I last put 240,000+ miles on with only regular maintenance.
This will probably be my last new car into retirement. I have earned the grey in my beard and disabilities have my passion for wrenching somewhat moderated. Now just driving to/from work and appointments or Wifey is enjoying the Driver's seat in her "lime rush" green "Kiwi" 4Runner.
