Well thanks for at least talking to me. I just got a 2017 barcelona red SR5 premium myself...now i need to sell the old first gen to pay the bank. Traded in my 2011 Prerunner and now I am pretty excited. My mother in law is still driving my old 2000 Taco...going strong after 17 years...Love Toyotas.
I am sure its blasphemy but i did manage to post for sale on the "other" forum if anyone is interested in nice first gen in the Charlotte, NC area. 4runners.com
Enjoy the Nautical blue friend !!

Came here to find some information on where I might find a $5000-$7000 4runner. I am new to Toyota so I wasn't sure what I might get in that price range. Any tips are appreciated.

I guess it is possible connect with someone on here from Oklahoma or North Texas. Is there anything to consider mechancially when checking out a 3rd generation 4Runner? Is it a good vehicle overall?
My goal is to get some type of SUV I can haul the family(wife, daughter and son) around it and possibly tow a small utility trailer. I live on an acre of land I end up needing to go to Lowe's to pick up lumber, fencing, etc. I'm guessing a 4runner should suit my needs.

It's a great vehicle for that, esp with a trailer. Check the stickies for buying tips. Too bad I'm not closer, I'd sell you mine.

New guy
Just stopping to say HI, and looking forward to learning more about these vehicles. We just ordered a 2017 4Runner in Nautical Blue with TRD Off Road Premium. Looking to add TRD black/grey wheels and maybe more.

Hello all. I just relocated to Durango Colorado and bought a 2017 Trail Premium. I'm looking forward to making use of the many off road opportunities out here. I have zero experience off roading on 4-wheel vehicles. Looking to learn some things on this forum. Looking to get my 15 posts in so I can ask some questions.

A great truck for a great area. I spent time in Durango in my younger days and fell in love with the area.

There is a cement color TRD PRO tundra at my work and I can't believe how awesome the color is. It's a head turner for sure.

Some 4Runner pics in Hawaii would be cool. We can't all live in paradise.

Please Help. Is this a good deal. New to the game
Hello Everyone, I have always liked the look of the runners and was looking to buy one. I found a nice looking 2002 LTD close to where i live but i do not know if it is a good deal or not. The owner is looking to sell it for 4500 USD and it has just under 180k miles on it. all maintenance is up to date; i.e water pump, timing belt, etc.should i go for it. Thanks

How much is it? In general should I shy away from 200k plus mileage vehicles?
