Hello,
I traded my 2017 Tacoma TRD 4x4 Sport DCSB for a 19 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium. My taco had a Icon stage 4 with 285/75r16 falken wildpeak AT3W. Very pleased with the tire, on and off road. I am here to get the most out of this 4R, so I can spend quality with my wife and son. My 4 year old loves riding in the woods. If anyone is coming to Citrus WMA, let me know. It's only 5 minutes from my house. We try to head out there a couple times a month.

Good morning all!!

My name is Evan. Just bought my first Toyota about a month ago. It’s a 91 3.0 4Runner 4x4 with 255,00 miles on it. I know close to nothing about mods or installs or anything mechanically so you’ll probably see me here quite a bit looking for help and tips. I want to do a lot to this car but all in time haha. So far I’ve replaced all the speakers (including the rear but they still don’t seem to work so if you know why just send me a message or reply to this), I installed a LED light bar on the front bumper, installed a 12in sub, a roof rack (including my titan vault for my fly rod), and last but not least I plasti-dipped the front grille and the emblems in the back.
I live in southern Utah so if any of you live close let’s get together maybe you can help me out with a few things.

Good morning! I'm Ross.. 1st post here. I started following the community here about 6 or 7 months ago when I was deciding my next vehicle. After deciding between the grand cherokee and the 4runner I finally pulled the trigger on a good deal for my 1st Toyota. I got a 5th Gen 2018 TRD Off Road Premium used in Houston, TX. It has 15,000 miles and is in perfect shape. I'm happy to get more involved here and will always have lots of questions and help where I can. I recently bought a 2015 Limited in pearl and then noticed how many other pearl 5th gen 4Runners are in East Texas! Dang!

Hey Gang,

Just joining the forum. Long time Yota fan. I've owned the following in the past:
'87 PU 22RE Corvette Yellow
'97 4runner SR5
'09 Taco with 6' bed

Taken all of them off roading (especially the '87....man I miss that guy) but never made many mods other than tires, etc. I'm in the market again for a PU or 4runner. Don't need a daily driver but want a clean ride that is good for weekend camping adventures and long trips. May make some mods down the road to go play in the mud or climb some rocks. Just miss having a Toyota!

Anyway....found a local '95 4runner 5-spd 3.0 V6 in Arizona. Private seller is asking $8000 obo. Here are the stats:
Second owner
Originally purchased in Tucson
180k 'highway' miles
New exhaust and cat
Wheels balanced
New battery
New Alt
New fan belts
Said check engine light has been coming on so his mechanic is doing complete "tune up" before he'll let me test drive it.

I haven't been able to see it yet since he's been having the work done to it. Pretty familiar with Toyotas and feel confident inspecting / test driving the car. Looks very clean in photos...possibly not taken off road much. I will ask him about the water pump and timing belt when I test drive it.

Now my question: If everything looks good (fluids, CV boots, cat, drives smooth and has power,) is an offer of $6000 too high? '95 isn't the year I would prefer, but if it's as clean as it looks online and he's had it tuned up, I think it might be worth it. Also it's only 10 miles away from me, so I wouldn't be put out to go and give it a look.

Any input is appreciated. Looking forward to many more posts here!

I posted earlier which is a good thing so hopefully you all can help. I haven’t done any service work to my 91 4Runner and I live in st George where it’s 100 degrees outside. I was just sitting in the drive through and my engine, running idle (around 1000rpm since I had the AC running) and it abruptly shot down to about 500 and lower and lower and then it quit. Tried to get it on video the second time and it did the same thing but before it quit it jumped back up? Weird right? Any thoughts? Also my gas light was on with a full tank so Idk what’s up. Also is it possible to post a video on here? Thanks

Been lurking for a while. Finally pulled the trigger on a '95 auto 4wd 3.0 (I know, not the greatest engine). Super clean and not abused. Plenty of small issues to keep me busy tidying up stuff. Once its proven itself reliable then I'll start modding/upgrading. Until then K.I.S.S.

Hello all. Just bought an 04 sport edition. Really liking it so far. Just started reading about some head-gasket issues on these . Hopefully mine is safe.

Cant wait to lift it and put some meaty tires on it and go off-roading.
