New to the site, Thanks for allowing me to join.

I'm in Bartlett, IL which is about 30 miles West of Chicago.

I will be inheriting my wife's 2009 Limited V8 in about 6 months and will be upgrading and updating here for my daily use so I look forward to searching and learning what can be done to her both inside and out.

Oh she is Dark metallic grey and has just over 130,000 miles.

Hi,

Wanted to introduced myself to the forum and also hopefully get some advices and guidance from everyone on here. Or at least from the knowledgeable ones...😂 I came from a Subaru (legacy and Sti) then Audi forum.

Since winter is around the corner in New England and I wanted a reliable low maintenance winter vehicle. I recently purchased a Gen 3 4Runner with 93k miles from a old fella. I’m excited about the mods and willing to listen to any advices that offered.

My goal for the vehicle is to do some off road driving, Trails and maybe rock climbing if it doesn’t get to expensive. But mostly camping, snowboarding and weekend excursion to the mountain.

For the Audi and STi the first mods were suspension and and tires. For the truck I’m assuming the same? What should be the first mod?

Well, I am new.
I am trying (really trying) to get the dealerships down here in south florida to order me a 2020.
They seem rather hard to get past hello though. Even though I am ready willing and able to order the exact build I want, they have not even opened negotiations..very annoying...sigh.

Down here all the off road premiums with kdss have moonroofs, I am too tall and it will bother me..and frankly, I don't like moonroofs at all.

I hope to keep this til I die, so I plan on being here forever, or until you kick me off
So see you guys around.

Providing I can get a dealership to haggle on price and order it. Its been months or research and two solid weeks of back and forth with dealerships...and can't get the deal even started..annoying.
