Long Time Lurker, Finally Arrived!
Hey y'all-- some of you might know me from the 3GT4R FB Page, but I drive a GM 3.6LFX swapped 1997 limited. It's been a hell of a ride this year getting this swap wrapped up and together, but alas, I'm ready to unveil the build thread and start answering some questions about it! Glad to be here!

Good times.

I feel your pain. Noticed mine is also rusted and plan on replacing it asap. Mine was stuck and I freed it up by placing some 4mm nylon air line down the gap in the door and glass over the latch mechanism. Then proceeded to soak that area with penetrating oil. Cycled door latch a few times and open she came. Cleaned it well as to not let it stick again and ordered new parts! Hope this helps.

Heater and AC not working
I have a 2014 SR5. No air flows from the vents, hot or cold. I've taken it to the dealership twice and they were unable to diagnose. I am thinking it is an electrical issue. Would Toyota Technicians check fuses, wires for loose connections, corrosion, etc, as part of the diagnostic check? Has anyone encountered this issue before?
Thanks for your assistance.

So I have an '89 4Runner with a 22RE, IFS and I believe it was from the last production run of the removable top before they switched the body style to the 2nd gen. Paperwork says 89, door tag says Oct 88.
Had a lot of fun getting her back to working condition and now it's time to start in with the mods.
Doubtful I'll ever go SAS with this thing but looking forward to getting her dirty. Here's a pic of her. Added some KC fogs to the front since I took this one. More to come!

As for dealership techs doing the checks for all the variables in your situation, more than likely no. Most of them do the "part change diagnosis" method. I'm currently repairing my 08 T4R for a similar issue. From what I have learned it is a blend door actuator malfunction. Actuator can have a poor connection or has failed. The blend doors could be bound from operating. It is a matter of taking time to get in there and search it out. Most dealers are not willing to spend the time.

Ahoy, All. I've just joined the forum after having been a lurker since i got into the T4R game a year ago with a '98 3.4l 4WD Limited. Fell in love immediately, but since July I've descended into a maelstrom of frustration dealing with a yet-unsolvable misfire issue. Somehow i have to get my introverted self up to 15 posts before i can start a thread begging for advice, so here we go.
