Hello everyone! Been a long time forum lurker and decided it was about time to introduce myself and become a more active/involved member. Proud owner of a 2017 TRD Pro 4runner since 2018. Since then I have done extensive upgrades (at least it feels that way to me!) and many of my decisions have been driven from the great content posted on this forum, so many thanks to the T4R community in that regard. I am looking at continuing my build (never ends) sharing my experiences with the community as well as learn from other members. Hobbies include climbing, overlanding, and a firearm enthusiast which all mesh well with having a 4Runner! Below is a semi outdated photo of my rig

Loving this site and my new car. I live overseas in the Philippines. Bought a US version 2005 V6 SR5 with 76K miles for $2500. Cars been treating me well so far. It’s seen some better days for sure - Manila traffic has been less than kind to this car for more than 10 years where it’s been passed around from person to person every two years. Some dings and dents but otherwise runs just fine.

Found this site looking for info on an AirCon issue and how to replace some console bulbs in the HVAC/Control Center. Will be doing some other minor repairs on this too.

Greetings all! I am brand new here. Wife has new 2020 2WD Limited that she loves and I am searching for a 3rd or 4th gen of my own. Recently sold my 2018 F-150 and really want to get back to owning Japanese built vehicles.

Wife and I both work from home, so we don't do much driving. But, we aren't interested in being a one car family, either. I have been very fortunate in my life in my life in that I got to fly cool jets for the Air Force for 22 years and then Uncle Sugar paid for me to go to law school. Now, I practice law at a very leisurely pace (as in I don't really work anymore). I have owned a few toys in my life...ski boat, airplane, a couple cool cars. Got rid of the boat, the plane and the cool cars...now need a cool truck!

Hello everyone! Just got a new 2020 ORP in Barcelona Red this month. Took it out to Argentine Pass the next day and was pleasantly surprised by the stock capabilities of the vehicle!

Been researching a while on mods but, want to take it as I go based on our experience with it. First up is a 3" lift, wheels, tires, and sliders. They go on next month - Can't wait!

Hello all!, My Girlfriend picked up a 15 Limited with the brown leather and am on the hunt for parts and knowledge! Ill be banging the heck out of that search button. Right now the parts list is a 17x9 -12 wheel, 285/70/17 AT tire, whichever spacer lift works best for XREAS, and subtle lighting changes.

Coming from the prerunner/desert world i want to implement some of those ques without the drastic change in comfort. My truck is a built LS2/Long travel Silverado with all kinds of goodies. Excited to make this 4R a fun family cruiser.
The 4R will be used for scouting offroad trips, camping weekends in the mountains, and general shenanigans.

New member here doing research to help find a vehicle. Looking for a 99 or 2000 limited. Open to doing some work on it. Thanks for the helpful information.

I've been looking through 3rd Gen threads here for months on my hunt for my first 4x4/4Runner. This community has been a big help in tracking what I believe to be a quality 1998 Desert Dune Limited 4Runner. ALL service records since date of purchase! I'm going through some service checks and build plans prior to hitting the dirt, but I'd love to meet up with any locals in the Bay Area soon. I will post my build progress as soon as I can, but I'm continuing the detailed list of records along the way. Thanks again for all the indirect help to date.

My account is a few years old but I haven't posted much because I was leaving my truck more-or-less stock, considering how capable it's been with no mods. If one knows how to drive decently offroad the T4R can get plenty far. Now I've gotten sick of the tire noise from knobbies so I got a set of highway tires on new wheels leaving the ratty stock wheels ripe for some bigger tires for weekend use, which means a lift, which means...you get the idea... The truck as it stands now:

• 2010 SR5 Premium 4x4
• Trail Edition take-offs with boring (but quiet) OEM highway tires
• K&N filter I think?

Working remotely and riding a motorcycle half the time means it's time to add to this list; here's the to-do's mostly in order:

• Fender liner relocation
• 285/70/17 KO2's for the stock wheels (after I clean them up)
• Icon stage 1, Toytec, or similar 1-3in lift
• Some used UCAs hopefully
• Wheel spacers if needed/if it looks too goofy sitting tall and narrow
• Rock sliders TBD, leaning Shrockworks or RCI
• Breather relocation
• I'll do bumpers as they get torn off :P

I think that's it for now. Hopefully this forum can also be internet methadone for helping kick my social media habit lol
