2015 SR5 2WD owner.

As you can see from my plate, I'm an amateur radio operator.

Ive had a few 3g 4r, but never built any, just used them as DD.

I am parting ways with my 94 land cruiser to build my 96 4r as my wheeler.

Not sure why, but I can't seem to upload a picture from my computer. I h8 using photobucket, but that may be the only way?

With a growing family, I thought it was time to sell my 1st gen supercharged mini and get a 4runner. I've always loved these trucks, but with the inflated used car market and scarcity of "low mile" 4runners out there, it took me a while to find one. And when I did, it wasn't exactly what I wanted.

Unfortunately, I could not find one in my time frame that had 3rd row seating AND 4wd. So I had to settle for 3rd row seating and just RWD. I'm thinking I'll be ok since I live in the flatlands of Indiana (I've never needed 4wd here). With some beefy tires and a small lift, our family should be able to have some fun with this truck.

I'm excited to utilize this Forum to increase my knowledge of these vehicles. Thank you all! Here are a few photos of the roadtrip from CA - IN. (We flew to CA to buy the truck)

I was reading a lot about the magnuson SC. The last car I sold to get my 4runner was supercharged and I miss it alot. Your truck looks sweet without the lowering springs! You should lift it instead of lowering it haha

Just trying to meet the 15 post minimum but also would like to see people's sound systems... preferably stealth boxes and hidden stuff to preserve the look of the 4runner's interior.

Love seeing all the lifted 4runner's on this thread.

I'm a 2wd owner as well. Wish I could've found a 5th gen that had both 3rd row and 4wd in my time frame for buying a vehicle but I'm pretty happy with it so far. Hope you're having fun with yours!
