Hello I have a 2001 Toyota 4Runner sr5
Silver. The paint all matches on the car except one door and the passenger quarter panel. from far you can’t tell the difference but up close the silver on those two parts of the car looks like it has a clear coat to it which makes it look a little darker silver. I wish I could post the pictures to show but I’m a noob to this and I don’t know how to. If any of you have any idea what I can do I’d really appreciate that. Thank you

Hello, just now posting here for the first time. I have a 2016 TRD Pro I bought used, last year, before the prices went crazy. Slowly upgrading it piece by piece, LFD stainless full size rack, Nef nerf bars, Baja ladder, 285 Wildpeaks. Next mod is Westscott lift for Pro. Can’t wait to take it to the Badlands offroad park in Indiana.

Hi, new member. I joined because my 96 4runner limited 4x4 needs some extra tlc after finding a few broken bits during a timing job. All the threads relating to what I need say that pulling the oil pan is a PITA . I have no clue what PITA means. What does PITA mean?

Hi there folks, glad to be here and I look forward to chatting, learning, and hopefully going on some runs with a few of you.

Just picked up a 2021 Lunar Rock TRD Pro with 4,000 miles on it. Drove it from Sarasota, FL to Detroit, MI. The unit has a tire imbalance, and has a serious Bumpsteer problem too. We took it to Northern Michigan this weekend and did some light off-reading and the Bumpsteer is only worse in off-road conditions. I can’t imagine that in this trim level this is normal because any speed off-road disturbs the suspension so much it’s unnerving! Haaaaaa - and this is coming from a guy who also has had 3 Wranglers in the past and I own a 2020 4 Door Rubicon and that thing drives better than this does with an IFS front end.

Took the vehicle in to Discount Tire for a rebalance and of course they are still the same! But the Bumpsteer needs correcting - if you have any insight please let me know. Thanks

Hello everyone from Alberta Canada, I'm new to the 4runner/Hilux Surf platform, I just pick up a 2005 TOYOTA Hilux Surf SSR-X 20TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION.

It’s a auction grade 3.5 167,000kms with a 2.7L 2TR-FE, I know it's not a powerful engine but it sure is reliable, fuel economy, also can haul 4,000 pounds if I'm correct.

Plans I have once it arrives to Canada are:

New tires
Oil catch can
Fluid change
Spark plugs
Air filter

Not to sure about future plans for mods but I will for sure look into it.
