Nice rig! I have a question how you got your pics to post? I do not seem to be able to make my small enough for them to be allowed to be uploaded. Any suggestions please

Hi, there. Member for a few years now, but never posted. I had a 2016 SR5 & most recently a 2019 SR5. Loved them both. Recently got rid of the 2019 & have a few miscellaneous items to sell. Glad to be a part of the forum!
Hi. 2007 4runner limited.
Most questions I have are answered in here somewhere. Just hard to find sometimes.
Currently working a corrosion issue on factory wheels and trying to figure what newer 17 takeoffs I can use to replace the current 18" wheels. I have the bigger brakes which is nice until you get into a situation like this
This is my 3rd gen. Got it for $1800 in Virginia, had a few minor issues and a couple BIG ones; radiator and transmission blowout, fixed it with a transmission with 58,000 miles on it, failing ball joints that snapped in the shop too. Now she’s running great, I want to start modding the truck and eventually taking it off road.
Mods I want:
- black projector headlights/angel eye
- off road bumper with a winch and brush guard
- 2” lift on medium soft springs/ possible shock replacement
- TRD 17” matte black rims or bead lock rims
- 275 tires all terrain
The headlights AND SUSPENSION I’ll DIY
BUT if I’m taking it on any serious off roading I want really strong LBJs a lot of people suggest OEM but I know there were some recalls (not every year) but knowing how Toyota’s production lines work tells me that even if my truck didn’t have the BJs recalled they’re likely similar enough. I was looking at a Uniball conversion LBJ on snowbound customs website and it got me thinking about how to put a lot of strength in that weak point of my suspension with the lift and going over rocks, has anyone modded their balljoints?
Fall of 2021 and have taken an interest in the T4R but there are zero new models on the local dealer lots for me to even sit in. Thankfully I have a couple of old Honda Accords that could last me another 10+ years,, but wanted to get into something more fun. Hoping not to have to wait tooo many years. Getting old and they might take my license away !
New owner checking in. Been lurking for about a month as I searched for the right third gen. Thanks to this site I was able to avoid a few 4runners that showed some common issues. I bought mine about a week ago:
It's an auto, 4x4. I felt the rims that where on it are a crime against humanity, so here's how it looks now:
I installed TRD FJ rims, new tires and I took the running boards off.
Hi my name is Evan and you can find my build on Instagram
@4runnerfit
. I was referred to this forum and I’m excited to learn more about the community/ 4Runners and products. I also enjoy seeing all the dope builds.
