Here are my current projects. 2002 3rd gen 4x4 and 2015 TRD pro. Alot of new parts at home waiting but have been deployed since last year. Big changes coming in September and ALOT of beer to be drank!

Hey everyone, been a long time lurker and gatherer of info so I thought I would at least say hi. South Central Virginia and my current ride is a 1998 4R Limited that I used to own about 15 years ago and now I'm working out the bugs at 287,000 miles. Thanks everyone for all the inspiration and knowledge!

my (new to me) 4th gen is a 2003 4.0 limited with about 136k miles on it. I'm in Florida so I've enjoyed putting surfboards and kayaks through the back window

Lift successfully installed. Hardest part was not getting into a million other small jobs I kept finding... ended up taking an extra day because I reprogramed the OG automate2 and upgraded the valet switch.

PS use lots of heat and penetrating oil to break free those rusty body mount bolts. Did one side without heat and sheared off four out of five of the stock bolts.

Before and after wheel well heights and overall pics coming soon...

Happy Independence Day, all! I just picked up a '19 Offroad Premium in Barcelona Red. My primary ride is a 100 series Land Cruiser with under 200K miles. I am so glad I found this forum. I know your insight and experience, along with occasional banter, will help me for years to come. IH8Mud has been an invaluable resource for me. From providing detailed videos and write-ups to help my non-mechanically inclined a$$ repair my truck, to sharing vendor links and resources, that forum is awesome. From what I have seen so far, I know this forum will be the same. I look forward to "picking your brains" about everything from roof rack recommendations to debating the merits of whether upgrading a cold air intake will actually improve fuel efficiency and horsepower. Stay safe out there.

Angry Greetings To All Y’all From NC
1st post, hello to everyone at T4R.org.

I have a 2008 with 226,000 miles, and a 2022 Off Road Premium with only 2600.

We’re on the road in the ‘22 and so far have spent $150 to reset all the warning lights because I put a locking gas cap on before we left and will spend some more when we get home to replace the broken windshield Otherwise, all is well!

Hello T4R. I've been a member of other 4Runner forums (4x4wire, Yotatech) since buying my '01 4Runner new.
Oddly, I signed up to T4R a few years ago (as AOW162435) but either missed or deleted the activation email. Despite numerous attempts to log on, ask other members for help, etc., I was never able to actually post here.
So I started a new account today and look forward to participating here.

I am planning to replace the CV boots, they have already been ordered through Toyota. Suppose to come in early this week.

Also considering a suspension upgrade while i'm in there for the CV boots though. Having trouble deciding how much money I want to throw at suspension. Seems I can get a pretty nice Icon or Fox 2.5 setup, both with UCA's for around 3k. Similar King setup would be $3500. But I had an Old Man Emu kit on my old Tacoma and never really had any complaints about that setup. I mostly just drive forest roads, desert washboard and some camping. So no long desert runs at high speed or anything.
