So I picked up the "used" 2021 Venture last Friday and it was clean, had some snow and muck and now it's pretty dirty. Oh well, a pic before/after.
A clean 4runner is either a very sad thing or was just washed within the last 72 hours. They are made to get dirty, not to be a pavement only sunny weather only vehicle.

Oh, don't worry, it's crudded up nicely now. It doesn't even have 5000 miles on it yet.

I have a 2000 4x4 SR5 with 250,000 miles. We have had the car since 2008. The right head is cracked. I now need to reinstall both heads now. Wish me luck. Dave

Have you checked valve lash while you are in there? Good time to make sure you get your compression in tip top shape.
Got my very first 4Runner one week ago. I'm looking forward to enjoying 4Runner culture and hope to learn a lot on this forum. I already got valuable information here before joining today.
Hello I’m Mike. Just got a newish 22 TRD off-road. Looking for all the informations on all the rabbit hole mods that I have planned. I’m in Alaska so if anyone sees this and is also here I’ve got some specific questions for you

Drove my '06 Nissan Pathfinder today instead of the new 4Runner, which I washed from bumper to bumper yesterday. The difference between the two is like night and day in favor or the 4Runner. I've also gotten use to keyless entry and not having to carry a key around so having to do that again today was a little strange.
New Member here. I’ve been getting good info from this forum (not as a member) for a while. This is my 3rd 4Runner I figured it was time to become a member. To get to know some of the people that have quided me though building and maintaining them. Thanks
Newbie here. Just registered. Here to get some advice on maintaining/fixing my 4Runner.
I have a 93 4Runner, V6 engine. Has < 170K miles on it. I don't use it very much other than to go skiing, haul my mountain bike to the hills, or go to Costco.
I've read many advice here that I found thru Google search so I find this forum very useful.
The dealership's knowledge of their own vehicles is scary, and the salesmen don't care either. I'm sure there are better dealerships out there, but I went to the one that was able to get what I wanted first
