Pictures don't do it justice. You really have to see it in person. It shifts in different light. Very subtle. I love mine! Now if I can just figure out how to navigate this site.

That is a really neat color! I've never seen that before around town. Must be pretty rare? Why?

Because not as many vehicles produced in that color as others?

def a nice 4runner indeed. Just curious though. TRD puts more into cosmetics and suspension on these rigs and no so much into the motor. I seen quite a few TRD PRO guys on here who go ahead and switch out the suspension and start adding there personal touch to it. But what i dont get is why do people buy a TRD PRO if you are going to perhaps switch the wheels and suspension out anyways? not all but some. Wouldnt it be a little more cost effective to just buy maybe a limited, sr5 or sport and then start adding all the nicer goodies?

just a thought.

anyways bad ass ride man!

4Runner TRD Pro

I'm new to this forum. I been trying to buy a 2017 4Runner TRD PRO, but dealers in NJ, PA, DE, MD don't have one. They are very hard to get. I wanted to ask if anyone knows a Toyota dealer that has one in the USA. I'd love to test-drive one of them. I was told that in order to get one, the dealer require a commitment from the buyer/ down payment of $500 before placing an order as they are a TRD special order. Is that true? I imagine some dealer in the country must have to have a stock of them. Perhaps some dealer in the west coast. Any information is appreciated.

I do not think that these require a buyer prior to the dealer ordering them, but some dealers may not order one without a buyer. The dealer I got mine at said the one I got was their allotment for the year.

I suggest looking on Autotrader.com. I found mine there after looking for a couple of months. I was doing a search with a 500 mile radius set up. There were none coming up on Autotrader in the Chicago area until about 3 or 4 weeks ago. They suddenly started appearing in my area. I missed a Cement Pro at a dealer 15 miles from me (as I did not have time to go see it and it disappeared after a day). A day or two later, a Barcelona Red one came up at the dealer I bought my 2012 FJ Cruiser at. I drove down that morning and worked out a deal on it. Have had it for about a week now and just hit 200 miles on it. I love it!

Good luck with your search!

Shoot me a PM. Went through the same thing. I had a GM of a dealer show me a list of other dealers who "should be getting one" Autotrader is outdated. Many dealers will say they have it and start the process to sooner tell you, we don't have cement, only white. Just picked mine up in Kentucky yesterday. After waiting three months and going through several dealers. I am in Chicago
