Lift/tires/wheels are already done on mine, so a roof rack is next. Maybe the Prinsu 3/4 since I have a sunroof.

Do most 4Runners need leveling kits?

I just scooped up a 99 Limited, I’m hesitant to do much to it but I’ve been looking at reservoir shocks. I know absolutely nothing about this stuff though. I’ve always worked on my own cars but this is my first Toyota and my first 4x4. A lot of this stuff looks like overbuilt stuff I won’t need. I’m a very OEM kinda guy. I can swap a motor in a Honda in a day but I’m lost with all this.

Remove spacers and still debating between ICON stage 2 3.5” or Toytec 3” with 1” spacer, BMC and hopefully 315s! Hoping to get this done over the winter!

First after I'm no longer a noob

I've got some mods already but the first major mod after I get my 15 posts will be rock sliders. Still haven't completely decided on weld on vs bolt on. Really leaning to bolt on for ease of access if I need to get under there but I also really want a welder. It's been 18 months thinking bout this... Any suggestions

I'd suggest staying away from any spacer lift and go full suspension + body if you need more clearance for tires. I think I read somewhere or was told that the spacer pucks on the springs can actually worsen the overall spring/ suspension. Check out the Bilstein 5100s lots of people on here have em including myself and I couldn't be happier. Just added an additional 1.5" body lift over the weekend and it's looking sick!

First mod will be getting it home and washing it thoroughly. That hood modification for 3rd gens looks pretty cool, maybe I'll go with that. If not, led interior. Maybe the beefy LBJ's. So many options.
