Have owned several 3rd generation 4runners but never really active on the forum. Just purchased what I hope to be a unicorn. My 3rd gen 2002 has been great but due to needing to trailer cars more often I bought a 2007 4runner Limited V8 AWD one owner 22k mile example. Should do the trick! More comfortable and better trailering. I imagine she is one of the lowest 4th gen Limited V8s around. Documented no accident etc. An older gentleman bought new and drove to church and the store. Garaged otherwise.
Super excited I have to say! Arrives Tuesday. And then make a long trip from New Orleans to NJ.
Anyway should be more active and look forward to slowly making her my own. Completely stock right now.
I know. Ran her through a thorough inspection. She came through all good to go. Fingers crossed. First drive, literally, will be from New Orleans to NJ trailering my 911 project. Should be a good test
I’m new at this, just joined! I just got a 2019 4Runner and plan on towing a Teardrop trailer. I traded a 2017 Tundra SR for the 4Runner. It was plenty of getup and go for the trailer but too much for around town driving. My wife was to scared to drive or park it. Couldn’t afford to have it sit in the driveway until camping season. Do you have any plans or suggestions to upgrade the 4Runner for towing? I’ve been doing a lot of reading online and have a few ideas but am new to the 4Runner so any advice would be appreciated!
WOW!! What a find! I just picked up my 08 this weekend! Also V8 Limited... It's got 136k miles on it, which until I just saw this, I thought was low miles for this truck! I was shopping for a while and could not find anything (in my price range-that's the key) with less than 160K... But i think I scored, this was a one family vehicle that LOVED Toyotas and did all work on their vehicles at the dealer...Got all records along with the car.
Really excited about the endless possibilities! Congrats!
Here's a picture of my 08...
got to love the grandpa cars that have been well maintained but hardly driven used to love getting the im at the dealer ship when i was detailing cars congrats on the great find
LOL I just got my '03 with 150K miles with carfax to back it up. I knew it was a good find but it seems it's even more so.
I saw the car and 1.5h later we were in the bank getting a draft. Seen, paid and registred in less than 3h. She's in great shape.
