New Here from GA.

Hi Everyone,
New Here. Just got my wife a 2016 SR5 premium. 4wd with 13k miles.
I've owned an 88 4runner (solid axle swap, 35's, 4.88 gears, lockers f&r) just sold last year. And a 95 4wd 4runner.

I currently drive a 2015 trd off road double cab Tacoma.

I know a fair amount about older Toyota's but nothing about the newer 4runners.

My wife's old vehicle was an off road Xterra on 285's with a 2 inch lift so the new 4runner has to get lifted soon per her request.

I'm thinking 5100's and 883 or 884 springs in the front, (need suggestions for the rear) and then probably 285 70 17 wildpeaks for the tires.

Now for some pics: Hope they show up.
Wife's new to her 2016:

Welcome! You have/had some sweet rides there. Congrats on getting such a low-mileage SR5! And my favorite color, too.

My first Runner was an '88 that I bought new and kept stock. Drove it past 300k - it was a wonderful truck.

Best wishes on the new ride!

Thanks, that 88 was bought new by my dad and I got it 13 years later when I turned 16 and that's when it became a DD and off-road project. By then it had already had a new motor bc of a warped head after the head gasket blew. Toyota replaced it for free. That was about 120k miles. I sold it last year to make room for my Tacoma as my family was starting and I needed something more street friendly.it had about 300k on the clock then. I miss it everyday though. Should never have sold it
