Glad to be back
Just picked up our new 4runner last week. 2020 TRD Pro in White. This is our 3rd 4runner all 5th gen. Owned a 2011 SR5, lifted with 33's and a 2016 Pro in Mag Grey which belonged to my wife.
Traded in my 2019 Raptor after having many issues with it that involved 9 visits to Ford service in 7 months of ownership, bought new.
Have to say the power is severely lacking and I was ready for this, but it still surprised me on the test drive. Getting used to it now. These stock Fox shocks have the same comfy ride as the Raptors did and those were automatically adjusting to the road conditions and I don't notice a difference on road. Very happy, and glad to be back.

Rookie question!
You are my first ever reply on this thing. Question. Looking to get my first 4Runner/Off-road vehicle in general. Looking to hit up some trails and camp where regular vehicles cannot.
What's the biggest difference in the 4x4 SR5s compared to a TRD 4x4 off-road?
Trying to do some research before I spend some dough. Appreciate it!

Damn that blacked out hood scope looks nice! Ignoring the tech issues, how'd the Raptor ride off road?

Yeah I like blacked out scoop too.
The raptor was fun off road. The faster you drove it over wash board roads the smoother the ride. Baja mode was my favorite, basically a sport mode it 4wd.
I miss the raptor and all it’s power. I don’t miss the constant trips into Ford service and repairs.
Love my T4R and no regrets!
