That's a very nice combo with the XV. That's awesome. Have you considered chopping the front bumper to improve the AA? That would really make life A LOT easier for the XV driver.

I also like your choice of 4R mods.

How was that Shrock rear bumper to install? I have Shrock gas skid (pain) and sliders (eh). Not in any hurry for a rear bumper but like their slim version in principle. Wonder how bad the install is.

I am really looking at a hybrid or tube style, but may be picking up a coastal offroad bumper soon!

We thought about it, but the girlfriend doesn't want to. We recently added the front skid/bumper guard so no changes for a while. We are still waiting to decide on a lift for it.

To be honest I don't remember the rear bumper install as it was about 2 years ago. I don't think it took very long or was that hard. Like with any other heavy bumper having a few extra hands to help hold it up makes a big difference.

You will feel a 2" lift on the Subaru. It is not bad, but it won't be flat in corners anymore. To be precise, the top of the vehicle will feel like rolling while the bottom remains planted. It is still better than a stock 4R in corners, lol, but worse than my 4R is now. LT tires help with cornering on a lifted Subaru. I had LTD KO2s and SL Yokohamas on my OB and there was a big difference in cornering once I lifted it 2". I had 1" total lift for years and then 2.5" total lift.

The 2" lift will help, especially in sand, but the real issue is by far the front bumper.

She doesn't drive it hard so it hopefully won't be that noticeable. Yeah already sitting on KO2's so we got that going lol. We have taken it onto some lighter trails, definitely ran into clearance issues in the front. With the current bumper guard it sits a little lower, so a lift will at least get us a little more than before. We really don't do anything too serious with it, if we do plan on harder trails or higher clearance we take the 4runner. Hers is just nice because she gets 2-3x the mpg's on those longer trips

I vote for the light gray for the wrap color.

Finally got some time to throw this on. No more wires through the firewall, no more 4 sets of wiring harnesses. Wish I got this from the beginning!

That's a beautiful looking rig! Love the desert photos/colors. I'm also looking at White Knuckle sliders for my 2001 4Runner, how do you like them? Ditto on the ARB awning, that seems like a clutch move for camping. What are you thinking for wheels?

Thank you! Haven't had any issues with the white knuckle sliders personally, been on the car for two years now! I am losing my mind on wheels at the moment, can't decide on what direction I want to go with. Especially with the plan to change the color, I am trying to visualize how it will look but haven't quite found the perfect setup.
