Also, from my experience, plastidip doesnt look as good as spray paint assuming you take the time to do it properly, and is an absolute pain to peel off if you leave it too long or dont apply it thick enough.
As an example, I spray painted some FJ wheels which looked amazing. I did 2 coats of primer, 2 coats of colour, and two coats of clear, and still spent more time removing the plastidip then I did painting.

No, I don't worry about fading. By the time it will happen my rig will have so many mods and so many dings from off road that I will care even less
There are few pros of plastidip:
1) It is already in my garage
2) It is dirt cheap
3) If something go wrong (I'm sure it will), it can be peeled off (I put thick coats (like 7 coats or so)),
