Dr Frankenstein I presume?
Not at all a newbie, been twisting wrenches since I was 15 on my dad's car. Joined Air Force at 21, professionally trained twisting wrenches on electronics, air conditioners, electric gensets, diesel gensets, gas (6-cylinder Lycoming) gensets, turbine gensets, hydraulic test stands, bombloaders, lightcarts, safety wiring, Tech Orders, computers, logistics..............I could go on, but even I'm getting bored. Served 14 years, please, for the love of all that's holy, do NOT thank me for my service. The entire time I was in, I was told 2 things 1) "Those that can, do. Those that can't, join the military." 2) Babykiller!!!!!!! Seeing as I joined the "All Volunteer" military in 79, their heads, then, were just as firmly up their asses as they are now.
My question is simply this:
1) Does a 4x4 5spd give a shit if it has the brainbox of an automatic in it? Theoretically, it should not make a difference, as the transmission doesn't control the engine and the brainbox will just be sending signals into space, as long as the engine is of the same number of cylinders.
Thoughts?
