New guy from Alberta Canada
Hey all. I’ve posted a few times on various threads trying to get to my 15 post count and finally got there. Time for my formal introduction.
I’m a long time Toyota guy, bought my first 4Runner in ‘03 which was a 96 SR5, had it for 6.5 years, then bought an 04 Sport v8 in ‘08 after Toyota bought my Tacoma back which I drove for 7 years (and ex still has) and I just bought my ‘22 TRD OR a month ago (my first new vehicle). From what I read Canada's TRD OR is the same as the TRD ORP in the states, we get less options for models up here.
Loving the new 4Runner, it’s a great mix of technology and old fashioned ruggedness and truck construction. I’m a dedicated Toyota fan because of their reliability and resale values, and after Toyota bought my Tacoma back I knew I made the right choice as they stand behind their products even if they make a mistake.
I used to be on here as gptoy96 but could never get back onto that account so I’m new and old at the same time. Thanks for reading my long winded introduction, lol.
My pics are showing the new with my former Tacoma, which served me well and was sad to let her go.

Welcome, we get the dual zone climate control on the off-road in Canada and KDSS standard. As far as I know this is the only extra items we get. Everything else is the same as the premium. I have put 10,000 kms on my 22 off-road in 10 weeks. Hopefully the novelty wears off soon. That's a lot of gas at $2/litre!

Welcome back
Sorry to hear about the Taco... glad to see another 4R owner! LOVE the colour! Ya, the $2 a litre is tough, but if you're getting off road, that's the payoff. I have a 98 SR5, and its still my vehicle of choice..even at 340k...

I loved my '96 also, it's long gone but still a big favourite for me.

I just seen that the US ORP doesn't get dual zone like we do, I sure enjoy having that option. That's a lot of KM's! I just cracked 3000km on mine.

I hear you, ideally I would've loved to have kept it.
