Hello all,
Just trying to get my 15 posts in so I can ask a question about hardwiring my dashcam to my moonroof wiring. I don't know what wire is 12v ignition or ground, and my multimeter decided to quit working.

I’m trying the same. Would you happen to know anything about a ticking sound on the 4.0l v6. I’ve been reading about it being “normal” but I’m not so sure.

Youd have to give more info. like when starting the engine, is with acceleration - what are you doing when it happens and where do you notice it coming from in the truck

Same!

I just joined to ask about a pressing issue, but can't make new threads yet, hope that's ok!

My read hatch won't lock (I can hear it moving).
I saw some previous threads about this issue but I can't quite deal with it right now.

However, since the read hatch can't lock, the parking/dashboard lights all remain on. Does anyone know how to force them to turn off?

Is it intermittent ticking? Constant? Loud? Where in the vehicle are you hearing it and what are you doing?

I reckon my first post got buried

This forum is confusing to work through
Anyhew… I have a 2004 4R LE with 120,130 ish miles. I bought it brand new, paid it off, gave it to someone who didnt take care of it and now have the car back. Am I nuts to have $12k of repairs put in it, none of which are mods?
