Tire Tests
I'm researching the Yokohama Geolander A/T G015. Both Tire Rack and Tyre Reviews · Sep 6, 2022 have videos and measurements of wet braking stopping distance and both rate the G015 as above average in comparative tests. Only Consumer Reports rates them below average in wet braking. So, I contacted CR and the agent with whom I chatted told me that, although he believes they do measure it, he can't access that number and can only say that whatever the number was led the test drivers to rate it below average. Anybody have a take on CR vs Tire Rack vs a site like Tyre Reviews? Often, comments comparing them say Tire Rack rating are based on tire-owner reports, but for something like wet braking they have videos of tests and actual measurements, so that wouldn't explain the disparity between TR and CR.
Thanks for any thoughts on this
