Newb

Thought I'd say hi. New to the site just picked up a 2010. Been on other car/truck forums for quite some time. Hope to find some useful info here.

So far so good for me. Of course I didn't trade a previous 4Runner in on the new one. So my opinion isn't necessarily a comparison one. Overall I am very happy. The ride is very smooth, it's quiet and comfortable. As far as power goes and not the one to ask. I traded in a 400+HP diesel and my wife has a 400+ HP sedan. So it doesn't feel like it's got a ton of power but that's okay for me...for now. I know a lot of people are unhappy with the plastic interior, I am not a huge fan of the center plastic where the radio and a/c controls are. The dash part is fine with me. Unfortunately many car manufacturers are going to this type of plastic. And buying something higher end was out of the question for us. We actually only made this purchase so our car payments would be lower. All in all, I really like it. I realize it's not for everyone. I didn't care for the Tundra when it first came and out but now it's grown on me. I like it being "larger" than previous ones but that's just me. My biggest complaint at the moment is the stereo. I want a double din and am not sure if it can be done. The orange LED screen on it now is nearly impossible to read during the day.

Thanks! Looks pretty inside and out. Nice addition to the neighborhood. So far personally I am a big fan of the 4th gen due to it's Torsen differential but hey, times change. Interior looks larger than 4th gen and nicely trimmed out.
