4runner newbie - long time FJ40 owner

I just found your forum--sweet! Last week we picked up our first 4runner, a stock '87 SR5 with the 22re and 5-spd. It's got 250k miles according to the odometer. Not much visible rust, which is lucky considering how Utah salts its roads during the winter.

We have owned many FJ40's over the years and currently have a dark green '78 with the stock 2F and 4-spd, a slight lift, 33's, winch, rear locker and Saginaw PS. It sees some of the trails in Moab and other places here in Utah a few times a year.

I am really looking forward to working on this 4runner and learning more about these great vehicles from everyone.
