hi!! i want to learn everything!

hi!
i've got a 93 t4r and it's my baby. i've had her like a year but the combination of lot of ignorance(it's my first car) and it not being in great shape to begin with... i kinda did some damage. my stepdad is helping me fix the problems but it's kinda one thing after another.. the typical conversation is:
"this is wrong.. and wtf is this doing like this?"
"umm.. idk. about this part, is this normal? what about this? and here? should this..?"
and he's very patient, but it's just silly for me to know so little.

and consider me that horribly stereo-typical girl who doesnt know diddly-squat about cars... today i learned how to check my transmission fluid and tire pressure. so, any tips at all that you can pass down would be loved, both pocahontas and i are in need.
yes. i named my car :P but call her poco, she's a tomboy lol we both envy all the awesome other older t4rs on here and aspire to be as cool

thank you!!!

Welcome aboard! Congrats on your T4R. Got pics? If you know how to check your tranny fluid, then you should know how to check your oil fluid. And it's easy to check the rest of the fluids b/c the bottles have a line stating full or low or something in that nature. Hope all your fluids are bright and clean like a baby. You also need to learn how to get your finger nails dirty, too (unless you wanna wear disposable gloves). If you wanna learn more, buy a Chilton or Haynes book for your 4R.

i'll get a one of those books asap then and i have np getting dirty.. if i wanted to stay clean i would of gotten an accord :P
we're working on getting the fluids clean again but stepdad says 4 more flushes should do the trick.. its mortifying how bad it was in there, i felt *so* bad! i've gotten the oils thing down now though. in the last week ive learned where they are, how to change the motor oil and how to put on chains... before that i was like.. how do i pop the hood? i wish someone had told me a year ago how important this stuff was, i really do want my truck to run forever-im pretty sure after my dog my truck is the best thing i've ever had <3 and your puppy is adorable btw!
i cant figure out pics other than my icon..but i'll try cause she's pretty and everyone should see
