4runner to taco back to 4runner with PICS
Hey guys,
New to the forum from Canada, I'm on tacomaworld quite so i now how to search,been lurking here since I'm into a 4runner again. I use to have a 2000 3.4L 5speed 4x4 loaded with leather that I loved, Wheeled the hell out of her but after 2 years of ownership the rust was too much. I bought it from a family friend at 17 and didn't even look at the underside to see they didn't undercoat it once since new. From the 4runner I went to a 2010 Tacoma, loved the look of it but the new toyota's build quality is not up to par. So after a year with the taco I sold it.
Now about a month ago I got a 98 4runner 3.4L 5speed in pretty awesome shape for around here with 105,xxx miles, just neeeded rockers(which I did last week) and a front drivers side fender that came with the truck when I bought it. (someone backed into it with a 2x4). Anyway so far I have changed all the fluids, seafoamed it, ripped out all the carpet, got it line-x'd, cleaned the throttle body and maf when I installed the K&N intake, new exhaust, Sub/amp/cap, 285 Destination M/T (have had these on all my trucks they sling the mud and snow) Just received my toytec Ultimate lift kit in the mail with LR UCA's. Still need to do some bodywork on the rear fenders before I can put the Bushwackers on. I'll be sure to take some decent pics and start a build page when it stops raining
