Check engine light vsc trac & trac off lights come on

I have read through these posts and have found to do a zero point calibration to reset these lights/codes. I disconnected the battery just to see if that was it, but that didn't work , so I followed the instructions to reset the zero point calibration and to no success. It did everything it was supposed to do, according to instructions, but as soon as I started it again afterwards the lights all came back on. I just bought a 2004 4runner Limited and I recalibrated it 3 times and the same result every time. Any suggestions/ideas would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks

you need a new gas cap probably...get a new one put it on and go through a tank of gas and it should shut off on its own...just happened to our 2004 sienna and for $9 shipped through amazon we were light free

This also happened to me last week.

Does the light go off when you restart and only when you move off? This happened to me when I upgraded my headunit to a NAV/bluetooth unit. The lights would come on only after the truck moved a couple of yards. Seems there was some connection issue which resolved itself after a zero point calibration. My mechanic said there is a service bulletin about this issue.
