1999 Limited 4 Runner
Hello all,
Just wanted to say I found this site while surfing the web for old truck parts (1966 Dodge WM300 4 X 4 flathead 251 CI engine) I am in process of rebuilding.
I am the owner of a 1999 Limited 4Runner V6 that has 614,456 original miles on engine and automatic transmission, I have put all but 36 miles on this 4 runner.
The maintenence is performed by Guillo Toyota in Conroe, Texas I bought the 4 runner from Tejas Toyota in Humble, Texas. I am a firm believer in letting the dealer service my cars/trucks.
The engine is all original, no major work performed, routine srvice only.
the transmission is original, no major work performed, routine service only
Anyway, I will post pictures at a later time.

1999 Limited 4 Runner
I live 200 miles from my office.
I am a third party quality inspector and travel all over the eastern half of Texas, Southern Oklahoma, and Western Louisana. I average 1600 miles a week in travel.
I can say my Toyota has never let me down or stranded on the side of the road.
I attribute this to only letting the Toyota dealer perform maintenance on my 4Runner.

Amazing
Welcome Bob, glad to hear the success story to this point and hoping you're on the way to 1M miles.
I too have a '99 limited and am hopeful I will have just as good of luck.

WOW! Toyota should bring back those commercials from the 90s. They use to have 100, 200 and 300k club and commercials for their trucks. But I guess 100k is nothing nowadays.
Toyota should give you a free 4Runner... I'm reminiscing that Married with Children episode where Al almost got a free car, if he didn't accidentally rolled it out of the garage.

There is no luck in keeping a vehicle in great shape. The only way that I know is having mechanics that are qualified to work on my 4 Runner.
DO NOT SKIMP ON THE MAINTENANCE, AND YOU WILL BE REWARDED WITH A HIGH MILER LIKE MINE!
Toyota 4ever.
