I honestly just went for the food and to see the other rigs.
All the stuff he had/has is all for newer rigs @theoutbackdream I think he does have rear bumpers w/ swing out.
He bought a warehouse full of stuff from a company that went bankrupt and left a lot of people hanging.

They did leave a few people hanging for sure. Considering what they really were though, a shipping company, BAMF has intentions to make it right. I believe BAMF intends on making good on the GB for the Hawaii guys. Then reproducing the products with all of the touches that only excellent fabricators and Toyota enthusiasts can do.

Most everything at the sale was unfinished. The bumper that I scored needed trimming (1.25") to clear the grill. That was either an engineering oversight or overstock from an early prototype. The 1st gen front prototype was also there and it also needed improvements. It was clear to me between the pictures from the auction as well as the inventory in the warehouse that PelfreyBilt was not in the fabrication business. I think they must have overextended themselves by outsourcing everything and running behind on paying the vendors as well as the landlord. I'll bet more than just a few customers got the short end. Employees, suppliers, business partners, vendors, and probably their families took it in the shorts. I believe that BAMF still wants to salvage the Pelfrey name for their products and somehow they might find themselves back in the industry. Maybe a SoCal BAMF rep? Who knows.

In the world of business, some lessons are taught, some are learned and some you pay dearly for. Lets hope that BAMF learned a lesson that someone else payed for.

People lost and stuck near Gold Lake

Jah help them, there are some really bad trails in the Gold Lake area. If they went down into Pauley Creek they are well and truly screwed. User comments say that Search and Rescue isn't responding yet, because of this storm. Don't go out the day of a storm which is expected to dump 4-8' of snow. On edit: snow mobiles. They could be anywhere.

The family found them! They continued to search, with help from volunteers using snowcats, despite the Sheriff's office threatening to cite them. And they found the guys walking out, on the main Gold Lake road!

One guy might lose both hands and feet. The other guy apparently had better gear.

Heyo From MONTANA!!! Its been a while since I've been on the forum!
Listen I lived in Cali my entire life up until a year ago, and thought that California had the best Mountains. WRONG. MT has the best mountains, and so much Public access. Its Insane. A buddy of mine has a few mapped out trails that allow you too cross the state completely on dirt roads. The scenery, the wildlife, the weather. Its all amazing. However I miss that the low in sacramento only got too 30 sometimes. It was -52 with wind chill this morning... Brutal.
