Need help, 2001 4runner, Check engine light, VSC Track, VSC OFF

Hi all, this is sorta of a two part question. I am the original owner of a 2001 Toyota 4Runner SR5, 4WD, we have had 3 other ones and are in the process of buying number 5.

A few years ago my 2001, had the check engine light, VSC OFF & VSC Track lights on, I did some research and exchanged both O2 sensors and the MAF sensors, lights went out and all is good. Now the same thing happened again and I exchanged all of them once again, the lights went out for 5 miles and are now back on. I won't pass smog this way ( failed ) , I had it diagnosed at Wheel Works in Livermore, they came up with error code P1113 but could not find anything else. Their suggestion was to bring it to the dealer, and I absolutely DONT want to do that and have them go on a wild goose chase. Does anybody know of a mechanic in the Bay Area that's honest and has experience working on 4runners?
Anybody had a similar issue and can help me she some light on that ? My kid just started driving and I want to hand the 01 down to him but it needs to pass SMOG Any help is truley appreciated.

Noticed your on your 1st post. You would get more attention to your problem in the 3rd gen section.

You might have to do a search on this subject and jump in on a on going post, with your question with you having limited post.

Edit... notice you been a member for awhile. Just put your post in the 3rd section.

Not sure where you are in the Bay Area, but I've used Yarnell's in Mtn View for Toyotas. They're honest, down to earth and the shop/floor managers are 3rd Gen owners themselves.
