Bilstein 5100's for the rear are good for 0-1.5", But def. Over 2" you will need another shock.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. From what I understand I would basically be at the same height I am now with the DS spacer kit but the main difference would be the ride and handling improvement. Do the 5100's hold weight any better than stock? Towing for example.

I would install Bilsteins on ANY truck i own and YES they will make a BIG difference over stock. We also sell Airlift bags (in coil) to help with weight.

I am new to the 4runner community. I am trying to confirm on exactly what I need and what actually needs to be done to level the ride on my 17 TRD off road premium. Will the 5100's alone do the trick? Do I need new struts? How difficult is the installation? I wouldn't do it myself but would like to understand what needs to be done. Thank you for any and all info.

These Bilsteins if set on the top setting you should be at 2.5" You reuse your factory Springs and top mount. Rear shocks will be replaced pretty easily. Ride quality is Greatly improved for both ON/Off road use. Great value for the price!!

I am looking into this setup for my 2012 Limited. I still have 2 questions: 1) From what I research, 5100 works for Xreas, correct? 2) Some people use 5100 front and rear and add a 1.5" spacer in the back. Is it necessarily? If so why? Thanks!

X-Reas is a good option while stock. Upgrade to a set of Bilstein 5100's where you can lift/level your front end and eliminate nose dive while into turns/braking. If you install on 2.5" front some 4Runners need the 1.5" to be leveled. If you plan on using the 1.75" setting it won't need the rear. We have plenty in stock please let me know. Thank you!!!
