The number 1 installation rating is our easiest rating, requiring simple tools, minimal time, and little to no experience with modifying your vehicle. If you can change your wiper blades, you can do this with no sweat. All number 1 install ratings require no drilling or cutting to your vehicle.
A number 2 installation rating can require typical garage tools and some experience, and sometimes require more time and drilling into existing plastic components such as a wheel well liner or moulding. If you're familiar with basic shop tools, a number 2 install rating should be no problem for you.
A 3 installation rating is not something to take lightly, although our color pictures and detailed guide will step you through the process in the best way possible. Typically you'll need sheet metal cutting tools and have the experience with them to make the process go smoothly. The hard work and time involved will be worth it, though, giving your rig a custom look that can't be beat!
