Trail Status?
Hey guys I'm going out of town this upcoming weekend to Gunnison, co area, and wanted to go hit either Imogene pass or hurricane pass while i was down there. I realized that they may be closed still. So, my question is if anyone knows which, if any, are open down in that area? Or if there is somewhere that i could check up on trail status myself.
Oh yeah and we could make it a trip if anyone is wanting to tag along. I know
@ FR4R
and
@ TCMach
may be joining me if anything is open.

I'm not able to be much help but experience tells me to visit that area after July 4th since I've been turned back by snow on earlier dates. Please report back, that's among the best Colorado has to offer!
A couple more hours will get you to Moab!

I believe the Devil's Punchbowl trail is near that area, too--that always sounded like a cool trail, with other trails connected to it, and the oft-photographed old mill at the beginning. Leads to the Schofield Pass somewhere north of Gunnison, if I remember correctly (my guide book is buried in a box somewhere from moving--LOL). As for availability, it's hard to say this year--those last few storms dumped a LOT of new snow over CO.

I moved your thread to the Offroading section where more people may see it.
