Good AZ Offroading spots
I've been to Box Canyon quite a few times and I'm looking for something maybe a little more interesting (which is difficult, seeing as it is Arizona..) to offroad on. I want to break in my Runner a little bit more, learn how it handles. Suggestions?

Try Elvis, which is right next to Box.

Check out What to do in Az - Experience AZ 4WD Adventures. You'll find links to many of the trails in Arizona. Matt does a great job of documenting his adventures.

Experience AZ has a ton of great info. You should pick up a copy of this:
4x4 and SUV Books : Guide to Arizona Backroads & 4WD Trails (2nd Edition) Cover Price: $34.95
I have been to most of the trails in that book and it is pretty accurate, plus it has a free download of .gpx files for all the trails.
This upcoming weekend I might be doing Elvis with some friends then parking where the trail is closed off at the Martinez Cabins and hiking to the Mine area - we have permission from the land owners to go to the cabins and mine area with the agreement that we'll pick up any trash we come across - which we do every trip out anyway.
I live in Chandler and head out to the trails every few weekends, so if you're ever heading out, or want to head out let me know, I'm always down for some wheelin.

Awesome glad I found this. Also been wheeling around az but would be cool to see other toyotas and new faces to go with. I have been to crown king back roads to lake pleasant. We should set up a group or some sort and start organizing group trail runs. North toward Payson and Camp Verde would be awesome too! I'm familiar with white mountains but not trails.

There is going to be a big event at Table Mesa April 24-26:
https://www.facebook.com/events/1416944968606857/
Arizona State Association of 4-WD Clubs Inc
I'll be there all weekend, maybe we can all meet up then - its going to be an awesome event!
And, I'm planning on doing some wheeling May 2nd & 9th. No solid plans, just putting it on the calendar to get out and do something somewhere. Anyone is free to come along.

It's gonna be hotter than hell down in the valley come June... I'd look for some wheeling opportunities up around Prescott/Jerome and or Sedona/Flagstaff areas. Much cooler up there that time of year...

There are plenty of awesome places to go depending on what part of town you're going to be in..... hit me up when you get to AZ, I'm always up for hitting the trails - even if its 100*+
